I searched and didn't see a thread about this, which was surprising to me.
In about an hour Apple's Worldwide Developer's Conference will start. Expected topics include a new iPhone, iPhone OS 3.0, Snow Leopard, and possible hardware refreshes, such as the aluminum Macbooks (and Pros), seeing at the white Macbook just got a silent refresh.
I will probably be following along on Macrumors, but Engadget and several others will have live blogs covering the event. There's also this nifty little site: http://9to5mac.com/livepanel.html which you'll want to make full size on a large screen.
Anyone think Steve Jobs may make an appearance? He's technically still on leave, and due to come back at the end of this month, but I expect to see him briefly, even if it's just over video chat (possibly when demostrating the rumored videochat on the iPhone).
So, discuss during the keynote, and after. I personally will be buying a white macbook real soon, but decided to wait until this keynote to see what's on the horizon, so I'm pretty excited.

I think it'd be cool to see Steve on iChat or something.
I expect an updated iPhone, and a lot of yammering about how awesome the iPhone is and how sorry they are for putting Snow Leopard off to work on a mobile platform. That last part might not happen... Minor updates in the Macbook and maybe Macbook Air. I expect the Macbook Pro to be left alone actually (just because it's already seen a pretty darn recent refresh). I'm also half-expecting a lower-priced iPhone, though Im not sure how that'd work out.

I really don't think they're going to talk about anything *that* groundbreaking. We already know that they're going to announce iPhone OS 3.0 and they're going to talk about OS 10.6. Unless they drop a huge bomb of info today, I can't see how the keynote is going to be all that spectacular.
It will only toast 1 slice at a time, but it will have a stylish look, be controlled by iTunes, and depending on the type of bread inserted, will only cost you 10, 15 or 20 cents per slice.
It will randomly burn toast until firmware version 1.4, at which point the only types of bread it will toast is wheat and a specific brand of bagels.
You can only used Apple approved condiments on your iSlice.

So crazy I can't even think of something that would fit aptly this description.
Why? Because every time I watch an Apple event, that is what I expect, and I am always mildly disappointed when it does not happen.

But yea, I think that the iPhone will be the only hardware announcement. But I have a feeling that they're going to do something crazy, like either the 3.0 OS out today, or, in a very crazy world, new iPhone out today.
Also, apple stores are down.

Leo Laporte does live broadcasts 80 hours a week or something crazy like that, and he was gonna cover this.
However, there was a power outage at his place and now he's cursing at his breaker box and the feed is cutting out again.
I don't much like they guy and he's not all that bright or informative, but he's entertaining to watch.
