10:13AM Whoa -- they're adding the 13-inch to their MacBook Pro line.

Yeah but it's still not gonna have dedicated graphics.

After all the low-end 15-inch doesn't have dedicated graphics and it's called a pro.

That was kind of silly on your part with WWDC coming, really.

You're right. But I absolutely needed it for a project and couldn't wait three weeks. I'm not really that upset about it either.

Microsoft sucks! Their new operating system is just a rehash of their old one! And now we are proud to roll out the 15th near identical version of OSX!

You might be able to get it upgraded for a small restocking fee. I'm not sure what their expiration date is on stuff like that, but I know they did it with iphones and stuff if people bought them right before a switch.

I never ever use safari, it crashes every 5 seconds whenever it tries to load a page, worst web browser ever. Firefox is so much better.

Any word from this on when the iphone OS 3.0 is going to drop? I could really use tethering. The only reason I haven't picked up a 3g modem + plan for my laptop is because the release of 3.0 seems imminent (and my iphone data plan is overkill.)

instead of doing expose for every window open, you can do it from the dock for just that app

you can do that right now by cmd-tab, select the app and hit the expose button

    Run the Safari 4 beta.

With an average of 50 tabs.

How? Apples entire marketing strategy is "No problems for anyone ever and nothing will ever go wrong" my experience is that their safari browser is hugely unreliable, with frequent hangups which have no documentation and all they do is give the spinny color wheel of death.

What? That has to be a misprint. That's cheaper than iLife & iWork.

The White Macbook is really nice and at $999 I may pick up one someday.

ask obs to send steve jobs to personally apologize for your singular problem that sounds like maybe you fucked up the safari install with mods if you're on a mac. If you're on windows then no fucking wonder it doesn't work perfectly, its meant more as a testing and debugging tool for websites for people who only have windows machines

Nope, simply use a wireless network which isn't my usual work network, and click on a site to open it. Behold, safari has crashed, if anything goes wrong with the packet transmission it crashes immediately. Of course, there is probably a simple fix for this if it were a windows system and would tell me what was wrong, but since macs tech support for this sort of issue is "Do you have a Mac? If yes, then you don't have any problems, are you sure you aren't using a PC?" I can't do anything about it.

Probably $129, isn't that what they normallygo for?

Also, Safari does suck shit. That's a fact.

Now, should I buy the White Macbook for $1000, or the $1200 Mac Pro 13"? Is DDR3 that much better than DDR2, and would it make a difference gaming wise using boot camped Windows XP, especially since the GPU is sharing the ram?
