Smart pricing and launch dates, I'm not sure quite what I think about 3GS in terms of true quality, but I imagine I'll pick one up. I think it needed something more "wow", I get the feeling they are resting on their laurels a bit.

do we have hard numbers on the internal specs yet? We can't be sure right now if it really can do stuff above and beyond the 3g. Right now, the only thing it for sure can do that the 3g can't is video

Nopes. The iPhone gets the discount price if you get a 2yr contract. I got a refurbed 8gig for 100$ with a new 2yr contract it would have been 200$ without the contract.

As a current 3g owner, I am most looking forward to ATT getting their shit together and offering me a $20/month capped data plan. I don't think I've ever used more than 250mb in a month since I've owned the thing.
Still don't have an iPhone but I've wanted one for ages, so I think a 16GB 3GS is in my future. Here's hoping Rogers will offer a non-rape plan for new contracts.
