Plus, you may just want to look through your background story and see what would make sense. There's no use picking Trollish (if it were available) simply because it's cool and have absolutely no reason at all for your guy to know it.
Ok! Here is the final draft for all of the important stats of my sorcerer! I'm afraid I don't have a picture, though...
In the interest of further information, I'll cook up a background and some superficial stuff shortly.

How about : raised by trolls ?

I dont advise celestial. You wont encounter much in the way of celestial beings.
Draconic may be useful...;]
I get celestial for free! If we end up talking to any celestial beings, you can probably trust the good aligned cleric not to lie about what they say >_>

I just Google-searched around for a while until I found something that A) didn't look like crap, and looked similar to the idea I had in mind. This guy was actually very close to the idea I had in mind, so that worked out, but other times I've just tried to find something that was close to the "general" idea, even if details were off.

That would be perfectly fine, then. (Ignoring the question about why raised by Trolls. :P)

Oh Eldwen. You put me in a difficult situation...
It's hard to turn down one so eager....
OK. You're in. On one condition: you seem to be fluent in the rules; help me look after the newer guys' equations and stuff.
What say you?!
Also. I will now need to re-jig some stuff. I will still aim the OP for tonight, but I'm afraid you will have to wait a little for the first encounter.
Also 2. I will send you all PMs to get your background out of you. After this, I will send you all custom tailored PMs with a bit of game world info. The reason for this is because a DORF may not know the same things as a human involved with the political system. etc.
EDIT: Zonugal, I still need a link for your character on Myth Weavers.
Can very much do. I'd have probably done it anyways, I love diving into the sea of numbers that makes up the backdrop. Having a photographic memory helps. I can give advice as to builds and selections and troublshoot any problems.
At work for another 2 hours or so, then I'll have time to get into it.
My character speaks Celestial and Infernal, plus Aquan and Ignan. Probably because I can summon those things and being able to speak to them helps.
But yeah, my character concept is basically taking the rules reality runs by, then turning them over and making them my bitch. Mostly by turning our guys into unstoppable killing machines and theirs into blind deaf and dumb children.
Combat casting is a terrible feat, no offense, but it's a +4 to conc in one specific situation, where you can take SKill Focus and get +3 in all situations. It doesnt even help if you get hit and have to make a roll to see if you fizz the spell, just def casting. I'd only take it as a class prerequisite.
Instead, I'd advise some Divine feats from Complete Divine or Complete CHampion; they let you spend turning attempts to do specific things, some very nice, such as Divine Metamagic which reduces the spell level increase from metamagic for a type of feat by spending attempts. If you plan to be good, the Augment Healing feat is good as well as it adds bonus amount healed by healing spells.
It depends on what kind of character you want to play, up front fighting cleric? spellcasting mystic? future-seeing diviner? Give me an angle and I'll give you a way to get there and be effective at it.

Grey Elf Wizard. 19 INT, expect lots of long words and long winded discussions, but also expect ruthlessness towards enemies and loyalty towards friends.
You'll see as we go. I have his character in mind :P

I'm going to go ahead and speculate that my character will not like yours.
What are you playing again?
Shaman right.
Hn.
Yeah, probably not.
Interesting :P
Aaaaawww, but you're all my friends, my squishy squishy friends.
I took Enlarge Person just for you.
Large Sized = Huge Greataxe = ???= PROFIT!
Oh my.
The whole WORLD shall hear my anger.
I will likely smirk, safely hidden in the shadows.
Good times.
Give it two levels and I'll make you actually Invisible in noonday sun as well. Plus a nice +4 dex. Or assorted other things. Another two levels and haste for the lot of you.
Suffice to say everyone will have some kinda buff when I'm around.
Heh. Eldareth majors in Transmutation, with a minor on Conjuration. Once he hits level 5 or so it really gets interesting. 3rd level spells are where it all starts coming together. Then at higher points there are fun things like Teleport, Mass Fly, Invisibility Sphere, Mass Endurance, etc. And for the bad guys, a nice helping of Slow, Baleful Polymorph, Flesh to Stone, Web, Curse of the Putrid Husk, Orb spells, summoned angels/demons, etc.

Oh all right. Sometimes I hit the belly.
Or the knees.
Don't underestimate a good axe to the face. Classics are classics for a reason!
To do magic is to draw upon the fundamental powers of all existence to accomplish ones desires. One can raise the dead, slay the living, step across a continent, vanish from sight, turn lead to gold, and stone to dust. All these things are possible, but in some situations wringing a neck or slitting a throat are still the best solutions.
Combat casting is a terrible feat, no offense, but it's a +4 to conc in one specific situation, where you can take SKill Focus and get +3 in all situations. Woo! Someone with non-core books read my character over!
I was aiming for a healing-buffing cleric. Someone that could dish out heals while augmenting others' abilities. As for combat casting...yeah, I agree. I could definitely do better. What would you suggest instead, feat wise?
Hn. We could take some Divine Metamagic here, possibly with Chain Spell. Chain Spell is a Fun feat:
Any spell that specifies a single target and has a range greater than touch can be chained so as to affect that primary target normally, then arc to a number of secondary targets equal to your caster level (maximum 20). Each arc affects one secondary target chosen by you, all of which must be within 30 feet of the primary target, and none of which can be affected more than once. You can choose to affect fewer secondary targets than the maximum. If the chained spell deals damage, the secondary targets each take half as much damage as the primary target (rounded down) and can attempt Reflex saving throws for half damage (whether the spell allows the original target a save or not). For spells that don't deal damage, the save DCs against arcing effects are reduced by 4. For example, if a 10th level wizard normally casts cause fear at DC 14, a chained cause fear could target a goblin chieftain at DC 14 and up to ten of his nearby guards at DC 10. A chained spell uses up a spell slot three levels higher than the spell's actual level. "
In English: Any spell you apply chain to acts like chain lightning. hits a number of targets equal to your level. This is decent for damage but REALLY shines for mass buffing party members in one swift stroke.
Alternatively, Divine Metamagic: Quicken can run you 4 turn attempts in exchange for casting any spell as a swift action, letting you cast another spell, take a full attack, etc the same round.
Then there is the 700lb gorilla.
Divine Metamagic Persistent. Now Persistent spell is a nice little feat. Add 6 levels to a spell's level to change it's duration to 24 hours.
Divine Metamagic lets you give up 6 turning attempts instead.
The only problem with Divine Metamagic is you need to take it once per metamagic feat you want to apply it to, and you need to have that feat too. So for Persistent for Example it's Extend Spell > Persistent Spell> Divine MM Persistent, 3 feats.
For the healing, it really does not get much better than Radiant Servant Of Pelor. As Pelor is your god it fits right on the button.
* At 1st level, he gains extra greater turning attempts, and any spell he casts with the light descriptor becomes larger and more powerful.
* At 2nd level, a radiant servant of Pelor becomes immune to all diseases. Additionally, Empower Healing allows him to apply the affects of Empower Spell to any domain spell he casts from the Healing domain (without the spell using up a higher-level spell slot).
* At 3rd level, a radiant servant of Pelor radiates an aura of warding, boosting his ally's Will saving throws.
* At 5th level, he gains access to either the Glory or Purification domain (both from Complete Divine).
* At 6th level, any domain spell a radiant servant of Pelor casts from the Healing domain is treated as if it were affected by Maximize Spell (without the spell using up a higher-level spell slot). This ability supersedes his empower healing ability.
* At 8th level, a radiant servant of Pelor can spend two of his daily turning attempts to damage all undead within 100 ft. of him by releasing a burst of positive energy.
* At 10th level, he gains the supreme healing ability, which enables him to apply the affects of Empower Spell and Maximize Spell to any domain spell he casts from the Healing domain. The spell does not take up a higher-level spell slot.
So yeah, Auto-Empowered and Auto-Maxed healing spells are pretty much made of awesome. Add full spellcasting progression and some new domains and you are sitting pretty.

Good old Sense Motive... lol
Excellent.
We're just waiting on Eye Candy and his background checks with the rest of the players, right?
Oh, and that Mythweavers link for one of us, eh?
Yeah. Sorry about the whole GMT thing.

Basically, playing God.
So, once I have time I'll gladly look over anyone's sheet and such and suggest optimal choices for things or note any mistakes.
Good times.
I'll start working on those PMs so we are good and ready for tomorrow. :]
Patience child...

Only those outside your reach. Did I mention that will grant you 10 foot reach?
Those WITHIN reach will find it rather hard to hear without a head.
