Ginormo Sword is a Flash game where you kill monsters to get money, use the money to upgrade your sword so that you can kill stronger monsters, get more money and upgrade your sword some more.
It is possibly the grindiest game ever and now you will waste hours playing it.
Argh, why did you have to post this?! I gave up playing it so long ago, and now when I visit the site, it apparently saved my progress... I guess I have no choice but to continue on, now.
I'm stuck on the Lizard Assassin boss (he teleports around a lot). Any easy way to beat him?

I pretty much only have the final boss and some of the hidden temple bosses to do but I need to grind to much to get there.
No, after you beat those you have the second quest to deal with. More grinding!
... second quest?
Oh god this game is going to eat my weekend, isn't it.
EDIT: Small question, does increasing the elemental level on a sword increase its overall damage too, or just its damage against specific kinds of enemies?
I just spend about 5 minutes killing Orc Chief at level pathetic. Never again.
got 30k gold though! :P
Wait till like the 5th screen or so. There's a location with "theater" in the name, it's got a flashing disco floor can't miss it. Keep fighting in there you'll run into some fairly easy to beat rare enemies like Valkyries and neko metals and the like. Good early place to grind.
If you're really lucky there you'll run into the elusive "Neko Platinum" a flashing neon slime. Kick it's ass and over a million gold will be yours.

The second quest is stupid. Nothing drops more money than the Avatar, so you'd just want to grid in in normal mode over and over until you can kill things in hard mode...which don't actually give you anything useful since the Avatar drops so much cash.

Thanks, now you've made me go play this game again :x
Better money drops? More jewels? More rare monsters?
Anyone know how big of an impact Strength has, or is it generally just better to focus your gold on upgrading the hell out of your weapons untill the cost of raising strength is lower than the cost of upgrading your swords?

And I think you nailed the issue on this one, too. Get the cheaper one.
I think the best strategy was to get up to the 13th or 14th area and pump your luck while grinding in one of those spots(somewhere around there is a great place to farm). My memory is terrible!
Wow. I'm really in the mood for a grinder right now. But probably not this one.

You could always grind some more.
Wait.
What?
Well at least it killed my interest, im free!
Macro your left-mouse click then just watch your guy stand on the side of the screen for about 4 hours.
Left and right arrow keys change the volume.
Terrible.
but NEVER AGAIN
NEVER AGAIN
I already played this!
I can't play it again, DAMN YOU!
It must be bigger, yes?
got 30k gold though! :P

But then again, my guy looks so weak standing there with his baby sword...
