I have 450'ish strength and the 100 million spell and I just met the Golden Knight. It took 79 blows to move his health bar one tiny bit, and I fought him for over an hour, and then the game started bugging up with the spell making it overlap itself and cover the entire screen, grinding the game down to a halt 1 frame every 3 seconds.
HE HAD 1% FUCKING HEALTH, YOU COULDN'T SEE THE YELLOW
I am seriously in the mood to destroy something within range here, a good sign I should never play this game ever again.
Something I wonder, how much luck should I be going for in order to epic grind at that one really good spot? I'm torn between pumping up my ability to kill shit and pumping up my luck to get better rewards/better spawns.
Ok what the hell is up with Necromancer's bullshit push beam attack thing. I cannot evade it at all! Must I finally buy the "No Escape" medallion? Can I disable the effects whenever I want?
Yeah get it it's awesome, you can turn it off in the inn in the first square
Yeah, you essentially have to have it for him. Unless I've got a weird bug, it makes his dark attack do nothing, no pushback or damage.
Ok guys, I found a program that will save your clicking finger and prevent carpal tunnel.
1) Download and install this free program: http://www.autohotkey.com/ Use all the default settings.
2) Open AutoHotkey. Say yes to the sample script. It will open up.
3) There is a line that says:
#z::Run www.autohotkey.com
Change it to:
#z::Click
4) Save changes and close the file. Open AutoHotkey again.
Now every time you press the Windows key + Z, it will click wherever the cursor is. Hold it down to click continuously. Perfect for fighting and buying upgrades once you're rich.
God bless you, Sporky.

The ONLY reason I could put up with this game is AHK.
#MaxThreadsPerHotkey 3
F4:: ; Stops clicking
#MaxThreadsPerHotkey 1
if KeepWinZRunning
{
KeepWinZRunning := false
return ; End this thread so that the one underneath will resume and see the change made by the line above.
}
return
F2:: ; Starts clicking
KeepWinZRunning := true
Loop
{
; The next four lines are the action you want to repeat (update them to suit your preferences):
click
; But leave the rest below unchanged.
if not KeepWinZRunning ; The user signaled the loop to stop by pressing Win-Z again.
break ; Break out of this loop.
}
KeepWinZRunning := false ; Reset in preparation for the next press of this hotkey.
return
F2 starts it clicking, F4 stops it. Now you don't have to click or hold down a button for 10 minutes straight to kill those bastard armor guys.

Are there any combos that needed to be avoided with weapons? I would assume not, but it would be pretty terrible if there were things weak to fire but strong against dark.
also i was wondering about this
is it cool if i just stick diamonds in my fire sword, or ?

As far as I know, there's nothing with two weaknesses.

What do I want to grind to kill the Lizard assassin? I'm assuming some combination of water resistance + armor strength + sword length?
Since there's no penalty for dying, I just went balls-out attack and whacked at him with my fire sword enough, so eventually one time I got lucky and he didn't teleport on top of me and instantly kill me.
so I encountered a gold knight this afternoon and left a book holding down the auto-click keys. came back 40 minutes later to find that firefox had frozen with the bastard 2/3s dead
Sometimes you want to stop superclicking though, cause you die faster if you're hit when attacking, right?
Until you buy and equip the Buckler, yes. I don't know of a reason not to use it all the time, unlike the Gauntlet, which lowers your magic damage output.
Well, Avatar is dead. I'm seeing no real increase in damage done to certain enemies so I doubt I'll go for 100% library, as I really do not want to spend 30 minutes fighting that Fay enemy or whatever other enemies like that still exist. Gonna say this game is complete.
What's the elemental weakness of the false god? I presume it's either light or dark. If it is dark, how do I grind for Onix gems?
Also, I have 100 million. Where do I buy the magic homing balls? Or do I have to beat the false god first?

The magic homing balls spell can be found on screen 8 I think. It's a building that normally has a bunch of people just standing around (like a bar or something). But every now and then it'll be a guy selling the spell for 100 million.

You know, the bullet hell aspect of some of the enemies in Ginormo sword makes me think this formula could do really well in a shoot em up. Grind levels to earn money, so you can upgrade your ship.

I'm not liking ginormo sword. You have to spend way too much time to make money to an upgrade that offers no large visible difference in power/defense.

The real way to play is to unlock the map as fast as possible so you can get to the really high dollar areas and upgrade your stuff really quickly, which does offer a noticeable difference.

And I think you can get onyxes from the necro which will be required for the avatar. Just a heads-up.
(My memory is fuzzy so I hope this is correct)

I don't think any of them were particularly grindy though.
Goddamit I was 25 kills away from finishing a big nest.
I wouldn't call the game a grindfest, it's mostly skill. Excellent achievement system, though.
