The 360 devkits previously had 512MB of RAM, just like the retail boxes.
This meant that you had to run your debug tools inside this 512MB.
This also meant that games lost about 50-70MB of RAM to allow for debugging/the SDK overhead.
So we can assume Reach is being made with this new devkit, perhaps they can finally have the RAM to allow all weapons as starting weapons.. (but that also ignores any new graphic improvements they throw in).
(Either way, it was kind of sad that we got 3 new covy weapons (mauler, spiker, and finally multiplayer FRC) and couldn't start with ANY of them. And we lost the Carbine in the process as a starting weapon.
Which made Valhalla Covies pointless because everyone started with BRs and mostly used human weapons.
It would have been awesome to have Human Slayer, Covy Slayer, Brute Slayer..
Xbox had already been delivered before I posted earlier. Turns out, even though it was manufactured in April, it was manufactured to old designs - it has the same plug socket as my initial unit and no HDMI or internal memory. I'm hoping the chiset is better. It actually seems louder than my other box.
I also have a suspicion that they've not transferred the licences properly, as Legendary isn't working for me either desite having redownloaded it. If I end up getting a free copy of Monkey Island and Splosion Man for SavyGamer I'll drop the points on Halo instead, but if not I might not be able to justify it.

Check and make sure you see the other maps... Are you seeing the map picture but it's stuck at 0%? When my brother's Xbox did that, none of the maps worked. I think we fixed it by rebooting his Xbox and cleaning the disc just to be sure.
No, it's definitely a licence issue. My Arcade games are also unavailable offline even after a redownload. Currently on hold with support - the first level guy tried to get me to use xbox.com/drm and I've asked for a supervisor.
Supervisor tried to wrangle me into the DRM tool as well, but ended up with a manual request being placed for Willeth. Might run into trouble with Legendary because that was bought on my US account, but if they can't do it for that account I'll use the DRM tool in that case.

Halo 2's ranking system was actually better, in Halo 3 I flew past every rank up until around the 45 mark, while in halo 2 I struggled and couldn't even pass level 31. Halo 2's ranking system was definitely a measurement of skill. If you were around 40, you were one of the best, if your were above 44, you were a freaking cheater.
In Halo 3 anyone can easily rank up to a 45 or higher, especially after creating a second or third account, that was not the case with Halo 2. Microsoft doesn't know anything about building a decent ranking system, that is why I always refer to Trueskill as Falseskill.
I guess a system is perfect if it's math is broken, and and a system is broken if someone can actually reach the top-end rank legit...

Thats ezekiel doing that. The situation is, well-- Essentially We won't get assigned a room until the time we show up. I'm planning on showing up there at around 3pm. Ezekiel I believe is showing up slightly earlier. We do have a 4th, some random guy from overseas but it should be cool.
lets see.. Cost of the room will NOT exceed 250$ USD. Guaranteed. The hotel WILL have an open pool and spa with a great lookout onto the entire city.
Just fyi, a cab ride to the hotels is a flat rate of 30$ so if you want to put up a feeler for someone arriving near you heading to pax, Maybe wear a PA shirt and try to find someone else and split the cab fare, thats recommended.
TV for the room is unconfirmed and I'm not going to screw with it this year since I'm bringing my PC for byoc.
