So, I have a pair of ER 6i isolators that I love, and I've had them for probably two years or so. When I was on a plane trip, I saw that Seinfeld was on the TV, so I tried plugging them directly into the jack, curious if any audio would come out.
It's just current, albeit in a slightly different standard, so happily audio streamed through one ear. That makes sense, since the headphone jack on the plane uses two prongs, and I just plugged into one of them.
Afterwords, however, I discovered that there's really only sound in the right ear (the one that activated in the plane). The left ear is much more faint, enough so that I can only hear it if I take out the right earbud. This has been continuing for a few weeks now, and I've been using them in normal usage.
Any idea what's up or how to fix this?
