When Tycho first mentioned this as the second comic it was probably the concept I was the most excited for.

Now I think I will stick with my fantasy boy scout team.

Gonna make some trades and everything.

A preview how? If you mean the character sketches on the scanned sheets, those come drawn on already.

I actually do know what metropolis's main themes were based upon.
That is not what's in question.
the robot detective in this comic is a direct carbon copy of the robot detective from the anime metroplois.
From his manerisms to personality even his look is directly copied.
If you watch it you would see that.

    Who, uh

who the fuck are you talking to?

    The choir, brother.

    CAN I GET A הַלְלוּיָהּ?

    Wow.

I don't much come out to post on many forums (greater internet dickwad theory, indeed...) but this comic has something special going on. Amazing artwork and real, REAL story potential.

I know it's unlikely that my comments will be received, but Mike, Jerry...this is potentially brilliant. I'd love, LOVE to see more of this story.

The Lookouts was good, but, well...fantasy tropes are so common. Noir still has so much depth to explore...

    Thanks guys.

Just would like to point out that they're gonna do all the stories eventually, this poll is just to see which gets done first!

Dru there is a Pentagram in that picture

Not in the comic, in the picture on this page.

    Maybe in the comic?

Edit: Not in the comic, although I kind of see something in the cracks when the hats give the bot some sass.

edit: actually, he posted in the Lookouts thread not this one
but I'm pretty confident he's read this thread as well

They say that, but how many times now have they started projects/storylines and not finished them?
