they stand around watching you build a sentry and instead of helping you raise it they upgrade their dispenser, and once you finally get it up to full power they come up and place a sentry right in front of yours. What a bunch of selfish fucks.

Personal high points of this evening include killing 6 burning people within thirty seconds as a soldier, killing a string of snipers and axtinguishing a heavy in a little tucked away area, and (my personal favorite) stickyjumping past the opposition and grenading a couple people off a point to cap it before the other team could rebuild their defenses.
Low points include such incidents as playing as spy on Sawmill and missing 2-3 kills because of the invisible scenery. By the time I figured out why the hell none of my shots were doing anything, the round was pretty much over. I felt pretty dumb, but also irritated because of irritating invisible objects which I always forget about.
Also, screw you bad people for abusing alltalk during arena! It's bad enough I completely suck at arena without spectators watching me play spy and telling everyone what I'm disguised as.
so i plan to post my tournament thread fairly soon. i'm hoping that summer time is going to illicit more participation.
with that said
before i post the thread, i'm looking for 9-10 people that want to captain teams. the tournament i'm running has a few twists and interesting things thrown in, so the team captain has a decent amount of responsibility. chances are this number is overkill, so if you want to for sure be a captain and not get bumped because there wasn't enough players signed up, you need to be the first person to message me.
i'll keep captains based on how early they msg'ed me, and bump 'em as players drop.
i'm doing this beforehand so i can talk to the captains, get everything straightened out.

As a heavy, I can safely say that 2fort is a map where snipers shoot spies and spies backstab you with tiny snipers who shoot more spies at you.
maybe some stuff is supposed to be invisible :O
