I hope that the results don't make them think that the Jim Darkmagic comic wasn't good. It's just that the other ones were better.

Also, no matter what you picked, you can't actually lose: we'll try to come back to all of these eventually. We aren't foolish enough to commit to a timeline, but there's a reason we put them in front of you. Eventually, we won't be able to resist.

I hope Gabe doesn't have his heart set on drawin' some dark magic anytime soon. Might be a while from the sounds of it. That being said I totally voted lookouts.

On the other hand, it looks like Scott Kurtz is doing something on Binwin(?) Bronzebeard over at PvP. So maybe there will be some Acquisitions Inc. lovin' over there.

I think Automata is definitely the best. By a great margin. I'd love to see it continue... with maybe a separate second strip started for it, even.

It looks REALLY good. I really look forward to seeing more of it.

The Lookouts looks interesting, but not NEARLY as cool as Automata. And Jim Darkmagic I couldn't care less about. Not meaning to denigrate Jerry and Mike's work; I'm sure it would be funny just because it would be made by them, but the bumbling adventures of a traveling stage magician with real magic doesn't strike a chord with me, while Automata certainly does.

So, yeh. I really hope Automata wins and we see more of that story.

there are tons of warm grays

take a look at the background of panel 8, for example

I don't know, I'm not seeing warmth; just grey

I am red-green colorblind though, which mucks around with my perception of most colors

But you can at least tell that some shades of grey are darker and lighter, can't you?

Also, how do you go most of your life not knowing you are colorblind? Didn't you ever get the feeling that something is wrong just from how other people described things to you (since you obviously perceive things differently).
