alright so the next installment of the beloved children's fantasy movies is coming to the big screen in a tiny bit over a month.

what's this one about?
Set during Harry Potter's sixth year at Hogwarts, the novel explores Lord Voldemort's past, and Harry's preparations for the final battle amidst emerging romantic relationships and the emotional confusions and conflict resolutions characteristic of mid-adolescence.

This is my least favorite book, but the movie looks pretty good though so whatever

    i reread the last two books in anticipation and this book actually isnt as bad as i remembered it

    although the whole

    yeah that's probably the one I'll also be going to. which is actually better, as there is just something intrinsically better about midnight showings, so maybe the movie won't be so bad.

    I always tell myself I will not bother with any more Harry Potter movies. Then I see a new trailer and get unreasonably excited. Then don't bother going anyway.

    It's happened every single time.

    you might be confusing them being in the forest with them doing nothing, which occurs not just in the forest but also at sirius' house

    I didn't like the ron loves hermione stuff either

    or any of the romance stuff

    it was just THEY ARE IN LOVE AND SOMETIMES THEY'RE LIKE MAD AT EACH OTHER BUT THEN THEY'RE OKAY AND HAVE FIVE BABIES :3

    The deaths at the end were so cold and thoroughly lacking in passion. I was hard pressed to feel empathetic. They seemed so unnecessary in that I felt she killed off all these characters in a bid to elicit emotion.

    And the epilogue was written just like fanfiction.

    I know I am not the only one.

    I would argue that the last Harry Potter book is still good because they fight a gigantic snake

    E: this is actually the second snake they fought and it's also smaller, so maybe that's not the best argument
