Issues with Trillian

So, I've been using Trillian for years now and this is the first issue I've ever had with it. Since I got home, its not letting me log into my AIM account saying:

"Your buddy list is currently not available but it has not been lost. Please try again later."

I've googled it and got nothing. This happen to anyone before? I've reinstalled and gotten the same effect. As far as I know, all my friends are on AIM without problem.

    I installed AIM-proper, but I'm getting the same message. What's going on?!! o_O

    Having the same problem, even with other AIM "wrappers" (meebo, etc). My friends can all get on AIM, though. Wtf.


    ps: I got here by googling this issue, ironically.

    Try logging in with gmail and see if that fixes it.

    It resolved itself over night. Research indicates that some AIM servers might've gone down.

    I...I didn't know that happened. D:

    they might be throttling 3rd party messenger clients like yahoo tried to do for a while
