Can't delete file

ok i have this file and it's not the sort of thing i want on my computer, when i go to move it to recycle bin nothing happens. It doesn't even say "it's being used by another program" it just doesn't do anything.


when i right click there's no properties tab, just "open with" and none of those work.

    thanks, that worked on this madden nfl 07 file i couldn't get rid of, but when i right click on the first file i wanted to delete there's no option for unlocker

    Try deleting it after booting into Safe Mode.

    Get the full name of the file, path and all.

    Ctrl-Alt-Delete, then go to task manager. Then kill "explorer.exe" in the process tab.

    Then do file->new task. Type "cmd" without quotes in the window.

    Then type "del filePathAndNameGoesHere" without quotes.

    Once it's deleted, go back to file->new task, and type "explorer" to relaunch it.
