    Which was my point

It's still significantly more risky and less sneaky to engage them even if all you're trying to do is knock them out

Depending on the game it may even be downright stupid

The first game was a bitch about just knocking a dude out

I have never played Splinter Cell.

I know that some of them are supposed to be good and some of them aren't but which are which?

Chaos Theory is amazing and portions of Double Agent are also really good

My favorite levels are CT's bank level and DA's prison escape

Pandora Tomorrow is regarded as the best by most developers I know. The long-delayed, upcoming Conviction is also looking promising.

Conviction looks good because it breaks out of the whole "move slowly be quiet thing"

Obviously stealth still plays a large role but just the simple fact that Sam moves a hell of a lot faster now makes him feel more like a predator than a watcher

Also "every level is a small sandbox" holy shit yes

It's Ubisoft, why would you believe that? I'm sure MGS 3 and 4 are more sandbox-y. This will be like every other stealth game with a few paths and a few bottlenecks per level. Probably like Thief 1, really.

    Just a guess.

Thanks for correcting that title, Javen.

Well it wouldn't help anyway because Sony's all "fuck yooouuuuu" and there's no BC in any current PS3 model.

    That is bullshit

Once I start making some money in a month or so maybe I'll pick up a used PS2 and MGS3

EDIT whoa I did not know this

    Time to go game-hunting

double edit wiki says nothing about an X-box port

I'm pretty sure only MGS2 got ported to Xbox.

And it isn't part of the BC list.
