Looks like nobody's posted this yet, so here it is ladies: Cardboard Tube Samurai in Tekken 6. No confirmation whether it's a costume (for Yoshimitsu perhaps?) or a brand new character.
Also, those green squares can go to hell, along with the tiny purple triangles that like to spawn right next to me while I'm trying to evade a horde of those pink splitters.
Yoshimitsu has robot parts or something, likely it's a costume for him.

Yea, going by his robot looking hand, I am going to say it is a costume for Yoshimitsu. That is kind of sad. I would've liked to see the actual character in the game.
I don't think there has, but I want one. I generally find it annoying when games are released for both Xbox 360 and PS3, but not PC.
Fighting Games usually sell pretty bad on PC, because it's primarily supposed to be a live, one-on-one experience, and PC's are generally not seen as a console where you can play that way. I don't know many people who have their PC hooked up to their living room TV.
That being said, now that online matches have gained immense popularity, the PC's becoming more of a viable console for fighting games. I'm curious to see how Street Fighter IV on PC will do in terms of sales. Also, there's definitely a higher chance of Tekken coming to PC now that it's also on XBox 360, keeping in mind Soul Calibur has been on XBox since the second iteration and has never been on PC.

i think back to the first day highly anticipated FPSes come out. My computer usually isn't good enough to play them with a solid fps and great performance, but an acceptable one to get through the story.
i'd imagine with a fighting game if you don't have all the requirements and beyond any kind of fps lag in an online match will kill you (in high level play at least)

You know, Clamp is designing Tekken 6 costumes too. Everybody will end up as fabulous drag queens or something.

I don't have anymore good taste to lose so I'll freely say I bought my japanese ps3 for this and there is a head to head cabinet across the street where I can go and lose anytime I want. I frequently do.
Also Lee is my main and he is fucking strong this time. His damage is higher than most others and that's with fully intact wall carry without bind. (I still lose)
The customisation options for the characters are really neat theres like around 20 different sets of different bangs let alone other stuff.
Seriously.
You can completely customise the hair. Like, slicked back, ponytail, long hair, medium length, then customise from the hoice of bangs then accessories. Damn I saw jack 6 rock up in a suit with a nice set of mobster hair the other day.
CTS in this is going to be amusing because there is a yoshi around here who plays like its a different game and only he knows what the real rules are. He's really amusing to just watch. I should tell him to get this I don't know if he read this comic.

(PSN: Morninglord) (Steam: Morninglord) (WiiU: Morninglord22) I like to record and toss up a lot of random gaming videos here.
Has there ever been a PC port of a tekken game? I don't recall any.

There was a port of one of the early Tekken's, I think it was number 2 or 3. I distinctly remember playing a demo of one of them off of a cover disc, although I could be thinking of some other 3D fighting game. Can't say what else it could be though, the only other notable 3D fighting game series from that era that I can think of is Virtua Fighter, and I know it wasn't that one.

I checked the wiki pages for the three first games and they only mention arcade and Playstation. Speaking of Virtua Fighter, I played that a bit as a kid, but I could never remember the title of the game. It wasn't until very recently that I figured out that it must have been Virtua Fighter, which Wiki does confirm had a PC version.

You do know that was a waste of money right? I mean, the PS3 is region-free with all PS3 games (Not PS1/2 games), plus you can make a japanese account to download japanese content on a different region PS3 anyway.

You're right, I was finally able to track it down. Turns out it was Battle Arena Toshinden.
Reminds me of how in Legacy of Kain you could get a cardboard tube as a weapon with a special code. Kain even said something to the tune of "Fear the tube".
Good times, good times.

There's a CLAMP design if I've ever seen one. CLAMP is like the perfect example of what's wrong with 70-80% of anime and manga.
Dude... What is that all about?
CLAMP is responsible for making most* of the fangirls I know into fangirls in the first place. Like, back in Toonami's glory days, I watched Dragonball Z and Sailor Moon. Because I knew that if there was going to be a discussion of Vegeta's redemption during art class the next day, Nephlite was going to come up, too. So thank your lucky stars that CLAMP provides geeks with the female of the species, yeah?
There's no business like shoujo business.
And back to topic at hand: CTS looks fantastic. I officially lust for Tekken 6 now.
(*I notice alot of fangirls also started with Josh Whedon shows too, so amen to that.)

It appears that they're suffering from a severe case of analiasia. I'm going to prescribe some antialiasing and a higher resolution for this.

Well, considering Namco made Pacman, and Namco makes Tekken... :P

Also confirming it's a costume, which mean Bob's earlier twitter post about a new character probably wasn't referring to the CTS:

They'll probably somehow make Leo more feminine than he already is.

Bartholamue: Yeah it was going for 500 bucks on a special on play asia for a 60gb versus 999 here at the time.
I saved about 400 dollars.

Also, sweet deal.
