Probably not, as I don't think I like the game enough that I'd be playing it long enough to make that investment worth it. (Not to say I don't like the game, of course)
To be fully honest, I WISH I liked the game enough that I'd be willing to drop $200 and play it till the end of time. Right now, playing beyond the free month is going to be entirely dependant on what kind of guild we manage to get together. So far, I haven't even grouped with another PA member yet. (Curse you guys for always being at different levels than me! Also my schedule of always working during the prime times also gets in the way.)
Once I hit the level cap, and we try out the endgame content, that'll probably give the insight needed to judge how long I'll be playing the game.
As much as I hate to say it, I'm thinking about jumping ship from CoH to Champions. CoH just seems to have lost a lot of magic. I think AE has a lot to do with it ... but the community seems smaller and less "there." The Penny Arcade channel and supergroups are all but dead too, and those were one of my favorite parts of the game.
Well, tomorrows test times are apparently 8am-2pm Pacific. Hope this means we are in for another weekend test.

At least they're starting 2 hours earlier than normal, that means I can get an hour before work, since I'm in Central and work doesn't start untill noon... and considering what all is planned for tommorow, I'd probably be too tired to play afterwards anyway :P
yeah, nice. My first day in the beta and I can play... not at all.

Man. I played CoH when it first launched and I have sworn off MMOs for over two years now, but you guys sucked me in with your praise.
Pre-ordered. Looking forward to seeing this at launch and playing with some PA folks again.
I've also been convinced to give it a try some time after launch whereas before I had already written it off. But I think I'm going to wait for a price drop for the client.
Has there been any releases as to how Turbine's funbucks are going to be used/what things will cost? Now that I am looking at the lifetime sub I also have to look into pre-ordering and the pre-order perks. The funbucks don't seem like much of a perk unless I know what I can do with them.

IIRC, they are, but they'll be showing off Star Trek Online mostly (Since Champions will be out by then.)
