This isn't for me, however I was asked to post and if any of you fine people could help out, that would be spiffing.
Basically long story short, my Girlfriend's, friend's, Ex-Boyfriend has been causing trouble after the break up. Words were exchanged over messengers, some sexual harassment was involved as well and he started making it public on Youtube.
Now this has blown way out of hand and threats of slander are now flying around after responses were made. Everything said in this response video was and can be backed up with saved convocations between people.
He threatened to sue as well and told a friend he planned as much. Now my actual question is has he got any basis, or is this like I think, way WAY out of hand and petty.
I'll spoiler the threat in that convocation I was sent below.
Him being the man, me being the friend who sent it, L is GF, P is GF's friend etc. You get the idea. The guy in question allowed this to be recorded.
Is there anything to worry about? Any videos that could have been deemed problematic have been taken down.
Could there either be basis for court issues or the less pressing account banning? I don’t personally believe there is, but alternative opinions are always welcome.

Defamation is a hard suit to win though. Most likely this guy is just trying to intimidate you.

This guy is a little bitch. That is shit a 10 year old would say.
At this point, BOTH SIDES SHOULD STOP COMMUNICATING. File a complaint against his videos on Youtube, but don't contact him directly. He's an attention whore, and a childish one at that.
Under no circumstances should any of you contact him anymore. Block him on social sites, phone, etc. If he tries to continue to harass her, have her file a restraining order.
Technically you can sue for anything, but defamation/slander is extremely hard to prove.
If he continues to try to contact any of you, file a restraining order.
Still, my advice is that all parties should start acting their age and break off communication.
They have. Blocked everywhere possible. This was done through an outside source.

I don't see how to answer either of those questions based on the limited information you have given.
The thing is you haven't told us what was said that is allegedly slanderous so we can't tell you if it is or not.
Let me give you a little more information. Right so, my friend and I have both blocked him on all sides, there is no way that I can get a restraining order on him since I don't have any of his personal information except his first name. I don't know what all my friend my have. Plus, he lives about 6 states away from me so I don't think I have anything to worry about him 'coming' for me.
All I want to know is if he has any legal hold on me whatsoever.
All I said was he sexual harassed my friend and me.
He is a very sick man and most of the things he did he couldn't help
That my friend did not leave him for another man but for the fact that he was so possessive she couldn't leave his side even for a day.

yeah pretty much this. it sounds like he is just harassing you but without knowing at least the major parts of what was said on both sides it's hard to say who has a case for what. if you don't feel comfortable posting it on this website pm it to me or someone else who promises not to make it public. i know this seems absurd and you are basically trusting strangers but ultimately that's what most people who come here end up having to do
edit: however without more information i will say then if it goes to court the slander would have to be proven BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT by HIM. so if he goes to court with this and it looks just just a most judges won't rule for him. keep written, physical copies of every time he harasses you now so if it does come to caurt you can fie a countersuit fr harassment and get a restraining order... pretty much just what was said needs to be covered, not the videos themselves. especially because what it sounds like to me is when they broke up you put up videos talking bad about him? these are the kinds of lawsuits that can get tricky, where every word and how you use it can come up so more information is never a bad thing.
also you had to have his phone number I'm guessing to block phone calls so that's all you really need, first name and a phone number will take care of a restraining order

You, your friend, and Helloween, told him to go fuck himself with a railroad spike. On YouTube.
Boyfriend gets sand in his vagina and threatens to file a lawsuit for slander after being called out.
Internet Drama ensues.

If so, just tell him to go fuck himself again, harder this time. Flag his videos on YouTube, get your friends to flag them, etc, and they'll get pulled/his account banned. Pull your own videos and stop feeding the troll.
No one really has any recourse for a lawsuit here unless there's threats of physical violence going around.

I posted it in response to a deviantart post and several comments he made around YouTube about my friend not in response to a video he did.
My remarks that are considered slanderous were made in that video but he may have downloaded it for 'evidence' or something.

I doubt this would really make it to a court - maybe The People's Court, Judge Joe Brown, or Judge Judy. Because it's really a he-said-she-said of the truest nature, and usually in that case the judge just yells at the less mature side to grow up and the more mature side to ignore them.
