I have NO idea what role the Sentry will play in Siege now. The next two Dark Avengers issues will focus on him and hopefully give a definitive answer to all his dangling plot points but he's basically immortal AND unstoppable now.
I really hope the Sentry isn't the Beyonder. That would be a lame-ass reveal. "The secret of this really poewrful character is... he's another really powerful character in disguise!" Right. You know, one of the reasons I loved the Sentry was because he was new to Marvel just as I was. There was no endless continuity to research, just what you had in your hands, and that was great, so if he turns out to be an old character I will feel slightly pissy.

Are there any hints from DA #12 as to who is the shadowy person Norman has under control?

It would sort of explain everything, though.
Not that I like the idea, but Sentry is so convoluted for someone who was recently introduced that he sort of necessitates some kind of retcon to clear everything up.
I'd love to see, just once, DC or Marvel go with some completely nutty, fun idea like that.
"Oh, you liked Dark Reign? You liked how the bad guys were put in charge and made life Hell for the good guys, and the generally bleak tone of the books? Yeah, well it's all wrapping up in a mini-series drawn in the Mini Marvels style, where Squirrel Girl is the bad guy, and the conflict is resolved with Hostess Fruit Pies. Excelsior!"
Really, I'm just curious if Marvel or DC could sell one of their cataclysmic, world-changing events if it was done in a ludicrous way.
I doubt it, to be honest. The suits would never let them try, of course, but I suspect the screaming, frothing tidal wave of rage that came their way at the end would wipe out any gains made by the event itself.

Sean Hannity and Alan Colmbes were actually in Jenkins's's and Romos's's's Spectacular Spider-Man story about Dr. Octopus. And it was completely fair and balanced (get it?), no political jabs or anything.
USAgent is probably in the audience beering people five left and right. Or he should be.
After re-reading the 2009 FCBD Avengers book, which still holds up pretty well I think, I'm pretty sure that sword Ares discovers will be used by Loki in Siege for an epic showdown with Thor. I hope so at least.
Is that FCBD Avengers online? I keep hearing about this sword. Being a free book, I thought Marvel would have it on their digital section, but I'm not seeing it.

They'll probably reprint it in conjunction with Siege #1, if it really is going to be relevant. It'll end up in the back section of the book or something.
I wonder if Osborn's mystery figure will be revealed in that free Siege book coming out on New Years eve? That would make up for the cop-out in Siege: Cabal I think. Also I wonder if Ragnarok might show up during Siege. I can imagine him finally finding Asgard and seeing it being torn apart in the battle and raging out on everyone.

I'll post the relevant pages of the FCBD later tonight or this weekend.
Depends which Cap. If it's Steve, thn it's a decent fight, as Steve is rediculous skilled at combat and probably in better shape than Tasky, being the very peak of human capability. if it's Bucky, then Tasky should layeth the smack down.

Is there a reason Immonen's not on NA #63? I thought he was supposed to stay on the book indefinitely.
And if only it was Karla and Clint in that DA solicit.
It occurs to me that Norman Osborn here is acting in a very similar manner to Iron Man in the Civil War. In fact, i would say he is acting in far better manner. If the only thing you read about Osborn was that story, you wouldn't think him a real bad guy, which is great IMHO.

The only way you could possibly come to that conclusion is if you don't read the text.

The actual Iron Man books through Civil War showed the internal conflict and the reasoning behind all of Stark's decisions. It showed that he was willing to accept the anger that would be placed on him because in the end he was working to keep his friends alive.
Not an ends justify the means thing. It was the only way he could see to keep everyone alive.
Then all of the other writers wrote him as a complete dick.
It clicked for me while reading Mighty Avengers 32 / Dark Avengers 12 that Bendis is doing a logical continuation of the ACTS OF VENGEANCE crossover from the late 80s.
Dark Reign should end with Ben beating up Norman, displacing Peter on the New Avengers, becoming a celebrity media darling, marrying Mary Jane, and becoming one of the most loved and successful superheroes in the Marvel U.
Peter meanwhile, continues to be a poor, emotionally stunted manchild that spends his evenings eating Hot Pockets and feeding his Aunt May's cat.
Well, depends. Do we then find out that Ben is the real Peter, and that Peter has been the clone all along? Or, rather, has been the clone all along, again?

I have been saying this for a long time. If we can get him back in the ripped up blue hoodie life will be complete.

Nah...I think the Beyonder could take the Sentry. Maybe by throwing him into the sun...which is the Sentry's usual method of disposal.

Squirrel Girl. She's defeated every major baddie in the MU. It's all in continuity.

Not so much marrying Mary Jane, that'd be sort of creepy.
