It's just Spider-Man Family rebranded for sales burst/trademark renewal on Web of Spider-Man. Not really a 'new' book. Home for Spider-Girl and other digital comics and one-shots, too. Should be bi-monthly I think.
I picked up Wonder Woman: Destiny Calling recently, and they talk about how Olympus has been ruined because Darkseid came and fucked everything up.
When did this happen?
I think it was an early Batman/Superman issue. Darkseid unleashed a hundred flawed Doomsday clones on the island in order to distract the heroes and kidnap Supergirl.

Oh, thanks for the clarification. I was about to ragequit Spider-Man there for a sec.

Batman killed a clone with an axe. :?
I really want to like Batman/Superman. Some of the cover art is just plain fun and looks like it could be good. But everytime I pick up an issue or hear about it, it's a storyline like this. Are any of the Superman/Batman arcs actually good?
The one with tiny, kind of "chibi" versions of all the superheroes, with art by Rafael Albuquerque is good. And the Annual by Joe Kelly, with art by Ryan Ottley was good.
Besides that? No, Superman/Batman is pretty awful.

Definitely going to have to find that. I love Kelly's take on both character, and Ottley's just a bonus.

The first two annuals (both by Joe Kelly) are excellent. The series is at its best when it's ignoring continuity and doing its own thing.
The two parter with the chibis was good, as well as the alternate universe with the Justice Titans or w/e (with art by Francis Manapul). And the one that had Superman on weed (it was magic kryptonite, but he was def high)

So the loop is complete then (Niceiza made Deadpool to be a knock off of Deathstroke to begin with).

I don't read Daredevil, because I've heard both Bendis' and Brubaker's runs were excellent and I don't want to spoil it for myself.
I've been reading a bunch of Marvel stuff for a few months now and Daredevil doesn't really pop up anywhere that I've noticed, yet there was that "The List - Daredevil" one-shot and he was on Norman Osborne's list in The List - Secret Warriors.
What makes him so important? Like I said, maybe I'm missing it, but he seems to stick to only his book.
I don't know how much you know, so it's kind of hard to word it. Without spoilering a recent event,
He's breaking the law, in Norman's city, and Norman doesn't like that.
But with the recent event's context,
A corrupt judge was found murdered, and it was doctored to look like the Hand had done it, and Matt is now in control of the Hand. So that makes it seem Matt is being even more brazen in Norman's face.
That annual also features the CSA Earth's Deathstroke, who bears a striking resemblance to a certain verbose mercenary.
and that's reprinted in "greatest superman/batman stories ever told", which is a fairly decent little trade. it also has the story where lex luthor and the joker team up in order to launch a legitimate business venture in which they sell indestructible robo-men. it's reprinted in a few other places ("greatest joker stories", off the top of my head), but is worth reading nonetheless. i always found it peculiar the way luthor just has a nice little press conference to announce his new team-up with a pale, twitchy, perpetually grinning lunatic, though.
anyway, i picked up that trade more or less entirely for the annual (it's the last story) and it was worth it. interestingly, that trade also has the issue upon which that annual is originally based and it's interesting to see the...differences.
when dracula tries to invade england from the moon.
I think this just sold me three TPB's.
Just an update, the Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend day is today, so I went ahead and ordered the 3 captain britain & mi13 books as well as a few others.

Is Andy Diggle's "The Losers" any good? I'm always interested in finite comic stories since I don't feel the need to commit to it like an ongoing. Thats the only reason I'm not getting Fables.
And yes, I know whatever I'm currently getting is nowhere near as good as Fables.

Cool, has there been any indication that DC/Vertigo will put the whole series in omnibus format? It's just the right length for it and I don't want to pick up all 5 trades then discover I could have bought the whole thing in one omnibus.

It's a good series, made pretty much to be adapted to a movie before that was the in thing, but it's not omnibus worthy really.
I swear to God the character Jensen is Diggle writing himself into the series, but all the other characters are worth following.
Good action/conspiracy story, nice Jock art, it's worth picking up the trades.
Now that Marvel is bringing back X-Man, what are the chances of my other wish coming true and DC brings back Aztek? Has there been anything about him anywhere since WWIII?
i'm vaguely curious, even though i don't collect teen titans - what is going on with the creative team on the book? wasn't there a brand new writer starting her run with #75? and now that's not the case?
i don't care about teen titans, but i'm interested in the drama around weird creative team shake ups.
no one cares about Teen Titans anymore, precisely because of the creative drama surrounding it ever since Johns left.
It's such a shame, for a while Johns' Titans was the best book DC was putting out.

Yeah, there was a new writer for #75 and #76 (which comes out this month). She writes for Gossip Girl (and she wrote an episode of Fresh Prince!!!!)
It looks like the next two are written by JT Krul, but that might just be because they're Blackest Night tie-ins, and he's been doing all the BN Titans stuff
I think I read that Johns said he would love to write Teen Titans again if Superboy and Kid Flash came back, so hopefully we get that in the future.
i saw something from the baltimore con that suggested the new writer won't be coming back after krul's BN tie-ins and thought that was sort of hilarious

They should just let me write Teen Titans
the first issue would be Aquagirl, Bombshell, and Kid Eternity walking out the front door as Empress, Arrowette, and Secret walk in and Wonder Girl puts on her black vest and goggles

I'd rather DC publish an entirely different teen heroes book to fill the void created by Teen Titans sucking. I just don't like the idea of Teen Titans, and I don't think having characters I like join the Titans can change that. What I hate is how group has JLA levels of resources and regimentation, neither of which lend themselves the youthful, spontaneous feel I'd expect from a book about teen heroes.

Has Green Arrow or Roy ever approached Arrowette to be their understudy?
No. GA was dead while Arrowette was active. Although he might be her dad.

There was that window where Ollie came back right before Young Justice was cancelled where I thought he might have approached her to become the new Speedy just so she could still be around since Johns didn't want to use her for TT, but instead we had Mia.

She stopped adventuring around Young Justice #15 when she almost killed someone out of revenge, though.
I have a (in my opinion) pretty good idea for an Arrowette mini-series that will never get made!

Ah, ok.
I have the complete run of Impulse (including the Double Shot with Atom and the Impulse plus Gross Out!) but I only have the trades that were released of Young Justice, so I'm remembering things wrong.
And, on another note: Has Martian Manhunter ever had a love interest? Like, with another JLA member maybe? Or just anybody? Wikipedia didn't seem to have anything on that.
