    To be fair, they were all from the whooo yay America part of his career; I've heard some of his earlier stuff was a bit spikier

    It's just rice paper, right? You could probably get a roll of the shit in any local Chinatown.

    Or replace it with damn near anything thin and slightly transparent. Tracing paper, hell, even wax paper or parchment would get you close if you swapped all the panels.

    When I adopted the kitten I thought, "Man, what if she tears up my shoji screen?"

    Six months of good behavior. No shoji screen clawing.

    And then a week ago I noticed claw marks. Tiny little ones, like she was exploring it.

    I come home this weekend and full on shredness.

    Yeah I'm weighing the options. I mean I can buy a new one for $70.

    Either way, I'm not gonna bother until she's older.

    It's not so much that I care about the shoji screen, it's that now I have to deal with my cat clawing things I own, and that's just a behavioral problem I don't want to have to deal with right now.

    That and I kinda need to have something on that wall. Maybe I'll go get a potted plant.
