Did you get hells of Xanax? I'm not sure if that comes in a drip but i got it a few times before (minor) surgery and i liked it.

They usually give people a -pam in a drip

Xanex is aprolazam which I don't think is a big IV thing

yeah, that's part of it but I think part of it is also patient morale because you probably have a fair number of elderly patients that don't get visited regularly by family

Yeah i did get it as pills. Then some sort of painkiller to prepare me for a muscle relaxant after i went under. Honestly When i woke up i was still tripping balls.

One of the big problems is that people have hugely varying responses to anaesthetics. My sister became concious again half way through getting her wisdom teeth pulled out, for example.

i used to vomit a lot after getting anesthesia but i figure that's from swallowing lots of blood. i don't think i threw up once after my wisdom teeth surgery. maybe i did, i don't know.

keep in mind that i've had like 15 surgeries and i have a high tolerance for drugs and pain. i am also a big guy so that requires lots more

But yeah I swalled about a pint of blood after my wisdom teeth surgery and go to throw up a mixture of blood and chocolate pudding for awhile, it was fantastic

Also I've coughing up this horrible black stuff every day since I stopped smoking pot, I think my lungs are taking advantage of this fiduciary drought to clean themselves

I also have severe anxiety problems and I have dealt with them for many years with a combination of marijuana and loathing

The doctor gave me real things to help though and those have sort of cut out the validity of my earlier self medicatory proclivities
