The PKE Meter in Ghostbusters is essentially a camera. You get more information about ghosts if you can frame them in the center of the shot (rule of thirds what?).

this is what me and my friends say when we play pokemon snap. we take badass photos and then get shit points cuz the pokemon isn't up against the lens and in the middle. we're all art students so its actually kinda funny
F19 Stealth fighter featured mission objectives where you had to photograph specified targets for the purpose of intelligence gathering.
And...uh...if you get downed in enemy territory on a mission, then there's a foreign newspaper article proclaiming your capture, complete with a photo of you.
There's a homebrew game for the DS coming out where you take pictures of the levels to use in the same level. So like, you take a picture of the part of the screen that has a pig in it then use the 'picture' in another area, dropping the pig on a switch... it was on Kotaku recently.
Can't belive that no one has mentioned fatal frame until now. A survial horror game where you literaly excorsise troubled spirits by snapping photos of them with some magical camera.

Gran Turismo 4 has a whole photography section to it.
Yes, I completely forgot about this mode until today. This mode was really well done as far as photography in games goes as you could control the aperture, shutter speed, focal length, camera position and it was accessible not only from a special camera section where you can place your cars in various backdrops but also from the pause menu in any race.
Best of all you could place your pictures on to an USB key to use on your computer as a wallpaper or you could upload them to your profile on the GT website so everyone can see them!

Also, there is a photojournalist in Mario & Luigi 2, though she is not a playable character or anything.
