Long story short, guy goes nuts. He has barricaded himself in his house with his grandson whom he is holding hostage at gunpoint. Cops have the streets blocked off and people are just kind of milling around.

    My Sunday was uneventful. The only thing that was strange was I heard coyotes in our neighborhood for the first time in a couple months. Guess we're going to see less rabbits soon

    The other parts of my weekend blew. Got stood up for two different dates

    I woke up at around 4 PM and played some Ghostbusters, Rock Band 2 and Burnout Paradise.

    Well, as I understand its very sad. Guy is a Vietnam vet, never quite right, alcoholic. His wife died a couple months ago and I think he just snapped. I don't think there ARE any demands other than for someone to convince him not to kill himself and his grandson.

    ive been really paranoid about this feeling my head and shit all day constantly checking the pulse in my neck then all of a sudden i get a torrent of blood out my nose which is probably nothing but i nearly had a panic attack so i decided to take an atavin and i was awake for a few hours but eventually the drowsiness got me and i fell asleep and right now i feel alright still got that feeling in my head but i guess the effects of the ativan havent worn off

    going to the doctor tuesday probably

    I almost died on the freeway last night when someone braked hard in front of me. I swerved to the right to avoid it, thinking I'd be safe on the black asphalt partition that separates the off ramp. It turned out to be full of loose dirt and gravel, and I swerved across two lanes, skidding out of control. As I was spinning, my tires kicked up an insane amount of dust, and I could see car lights coming within inches of me.

    Miraculously, I came to a stop perfectly in the shoulder, and my car is perfectly fine (save for two hubcaps).
