    I'm just going to accept the fact that I'm easily amused by movies. Transformers was ridiculous, but fun once I gave in to that ridiculousness. It wasn't even a "so bad it's good" movie for me. It was just two and a half hours of utter nonsense that somehow managed to be fun.

    If we could somehow transport a film reel of this back to the 60's-70's I'm sure they'd have a blast with it.

    I'm sure Andy Warhol would hold private screenings of it in his Factory.

    Fuck, send it back further to Salvador Dali and I'm sure he'd kill himself with jealously.

    The violence would have been a bit more fun if the robots had appealing personalities.

    With all the "punkass decepiticons" and "we don't do much reading" lines, I just stopped paying attention by the last fight.

    By the way, the new thread title comes from a conversation I had while playing video games last night.

    The topic was on Transformers and someone asked me how many Transformer toys I had. I said I probably had enough that if I dropped them all on him, it would kill him.
