If you were not a child in the early 90s, go ahead and do an image search for Lisa Frank, and you'll immediately see what Gordito is talking about.

i don't like the comics that make you have to go back and read all the back issues to figure out what's going on
i mean, yeah this one has a pretty awesome pun in it
but some of them i'm just like 'eh... i don't understand what's happening here'

That's one of the reasons I haven't read Achewood or Dr. McNinja. I know they're great but I don't think I could find the time to catch up on the whole story.

It's a story driven comic, so most of the pages will be at least a little confusing, but plenty of folks here follow McNinja so it's no big thing.

Edit: You should probably take the monkey's advice.

its not really hard to keep up with it if you read it as it comes out.

Hell it aint even hard to read the archives.

Honestly it seems like you are making a mountain out of a molehill, here.

I mean that is like saying that watching a tv show is too hard because there are 6 whole days between new episodes (or more if you like lost, I guess)

Also, the two previous chapters are self-contained stories that give you all the information you need to follow along.

Except there are a number of webcomics with literally years of archives. I don't really have time to sit down and go 'Man I'm gonna go read me a whole year's worth of comics right now.' Though apparently Achewood and Dr. McNinja both have physical books which would make things easier.

Rice Boy is a very good comic that's a complete story and is over with now. I highly recommend it.

And, again, there are multiple McNinja chapters, which are labeled as such in the archives page, that are self-contained and are easy to jump into for new readers.
