I have just reinstalled Warhammer Online, and after about 10 minutes of play my computer locks up and spews purple garbage on my monitor. Now this doesn't happen when playing Sacred 2 or the Sims 3 so I'm not sure what the issue is.
Im not sure what info you guys would want but here is my base info as reported from dxdiag:

I'm in agreement. Definately sounds like the video card is over heating. (When I had this problem, my whole computer would just reboot itself every time the video card failed.) I had the same symptoms, less graphically intense games (or games that didn't tax specific function calls on the video card) did not cause my PC to reboot. However during other games it would reboot after 10 minutes.
I tried many many work arounds (it was an ATI card, and I was using a power hungry overheating POS Pentium-4 Processor on my mainboard which did not help. I bought new fans/heatsinks and left the side of the case open to try to get around the problem, but it still cropped up more often than I liked.
I recommend getting a new video card. Nvidia at that. I won't buy ATI again after that nonsense, I've never had an Nvidia card fail on me but your milage may vary. There very well be someone here that has the opposite story from me where they only buy ATI and don't trust Nvidia.
Regarding the OPs problem, you could add an aftermakrte fan to the video card if you're cool with tinkering. It's also dirt cheap to get PCI slot fans and stick one right next to your video card. You could also try isolating the problem by reverting to onboard video if you have that option, and seeing if the problem disappears (although the pain of onboard may be too much to bear....), or if you can underclock your card that may lower the heat and help isolate the problem?
