Palin has announced she will resign as Governor of Alaska.

Here's the story from the Washington Post.


I would love if she faded completely into oblivion, but I have a nagging suspicion something is amiss. The phrases "tactical retreat", "nursing your wounds", and "regrouping for a counterattack" come to mind.

    As much as the world over would be glad to see her gone I can't help but feel she isn't going to leave so silently as most would hope for.

    Probably the same guy that advised McCain to make her his VP, this is about as good an idea as that was.
