I'm thiisss close to ditching Litchi for Taokaka or Noel. It seems like everyone and their mom online sees my Litchi record and decides to use Jin.
Jin's been whoopin my Litchi's butt all week.

I've been debating on whether to get this game or not, so I'm going to go back to the old standard of peer pressure. So...someone sell me on this game. :P

Don't DITCH her, just tinker around with other people. I've spent a lot of time with Tager and Bang, and now I'm messing around with Arakune. But for ranked I always go back to Litchi and combo the shit out of people.
Oh and while this thread is close to getting restarted possibly, if anyone sees me playing KOF or some other game but you want to play Blazblue, send me a message and I'll probably ditch that in favor of BB.

What's up, Kai, I knew I recognized your name. GG, man.
Oh and I got hate mail from a V-13 that got pissed because I kept Ice Carzing over his D spam. It was as followed:
Oh, could you use Ice Car one more time. I don't think I saw it enough.
My reply:
BEEP BEEP
I think I only saw you ice car twice maybe, and both were pretty much garunteed in a combo o_0
I definately learned Jins D is meaty, didnt expect that. My follow up pressure has been weakening because so many people in ranked usually eat my BNB or my air hits leading into a BNB, and then let me trip them

Oh, my brother plays Ragna so believe me I've seen those moves and know that his range stuffs most of my attacks.
Man, I was playing Taokaka against a rush-down Ragna and hell if I knew what to do about him. The thing that kept on getting me was that it seems his standing A (or B? I'm not sure) comes out stupid fast and can lead into a pretty damaging combo, and I basically couldn't do anything because it matched all my As in speed and Tao's standing B has shit range. I basically kept getting barrier broken because he would not stop attacking me, ever, and I could never find an opening that didn't get my ass terribly punished. Out of the 10 or so matches I played I only managed to scrape out a few rounds, and I ended up losing all of the matches.
Taokakas down B is the sheeeeznit. Closes the range so you can follow up with standing C then either go into 3C to drive loop, or do 236A AxN to Drive then keep the pressure, or run up and throw. This is what a good Taokaka did to me, I don't play her enough to succeed with Taos AWESOME pressure and taunt combos (havent tried learning, will do today though).
Ragna is good at pressure, but Tao has waaaaaaaay more tricks. And she can guard break if your smart about it easily. Her C attacks when charged for even a little bit do significant guard damage.
Oh while talking about Tao, anyone actually use her projectiles other than trying to just finnish off a runaway character who has a sliver of health? I've used her bowling balls full screen to zone a little but thats it. They usually have time to IAD and get me before I get finnish the moves recovery.

I've seen some people do it to bait a jump for I'm gotta beat the crap out of you.
I think ima jump into training with T-KAK! and try and learn her taunt combos and shit. I only trained with her once and thus whenever I play with her... I suck the chocolate salty balls.

I finally got around to play ranked matches online now that I feel more comfortable on Tager. I'm surprised how little I use his command throw, right now my game seems to revolve around mixing up 2b, 6a, and his normal throws and linking any of those into a big damage combo. I'm still trying to figure out how I should follow up if I connect with a HCF+D.
My Hakumen right now is a lot more freeform, I need to learn some combos on him. Right now my game just seems to revolve around corner pressure, fishing for counter hits on his C attacks and using his counter ability if I am getting rushed down.
With hakumen you only need to know his counter combos, his anti air combo and a few of his mugatama combos. There all pretty simple and very rewarding. Hakumen s just a really situational character instead of offensive. He has huge damage combos off anything. Opponent likes to jump in on you? You can either go for the 6D counter and get a big damage combo off him or simply 6A his ass out of the air for the counter hit and do a big damage combo.
Anyways, ima hop back on with Tao. Any challengers? I need to try and learn more shit with her...

New thread title has to be Jin Kisaragi's 90 degree snowboarding
has to be
1080 you mean, and yes it does.
Or SSX Tricky: Kisaragi Edition
214 = 90 degrees
However, my vote is for Grand Theft Icecar.

Alright, this game is pretty awesome. I think I'm in love with Noel. She's definitely my best character so far. Also, I just saw the first "Tip" video and I...I don't know what to think anymore.

Ok finally started to dip my toe into online; started off pretty bad but I'm starting to see some improvement so that's nice. Hakuman's always a tough opponent but that makes sense for Noel. And like a lot of people have been saying about Jin... Well Jin's just a little cunt, regardless of the player is good or bad it seems. :x
O and for when you're looking for a room to join in player matches; is it really designed so that if a match is going on you can't even join the lobby? Even Dead or Alive had something like that if I remember right. I'm just suprised with a game with such well designed multiplayer doesn't let you wait in the room's lobby while the match finishes. Or am I just missing something?
I play this game I dunno if anyone is interested but my gamertag is: You are Welcome
I like to think I play a pretty mean Tager. I dish out lots of REAL SOVIET DAMAGE
Still have a lot to learn though heh
Msg me sometime if you want to play or add me to that friends list thingy perhaps !

So I am super fucking bad at this game. First thing I did when I got the box back was go into MvC2, then SFIV. Using lower buttons has murdered my ability to play.

Yeah I am trying to be original, but now that I am attempting to branch from my BNB combos I get a little flustered sometimes.
I couldnt figure out anything to do vs carl but Hells Fang. It was the only solid thing I was landing
