I don't know who is in charge, but I will give it a shot if/when it airs.

    Who really gives a shit?

    I don't think that anyone who actually cares about the franchise has a reason to be optimistic about the quality of the show. Simultaneously, anyone who isn't a fanboy doesn't have a recent movie to remind them why they would want to to watch it.

    dudes getting shot in the face and cut in half and shit

    Maybe it'll focus on the criminal underworld of Star Wars. That's the only way I could see it begin to make sense.


    Edit: Lucas should just stay away from developing Star Wars shows, and leave it to people who understand the lore behind it.


    I mean, it took a small army of people to clean up his original idea for the original three movies to make them presentable, if I recall. The guy just doesn't do good work when he's in control.
