okay, now that is weird. Have you tried switching the router off for 30 seconds and then rebooting it? I do that with everything. When I get married, I'ma makes sure the gal comes with a power switch.

Never occurred to me to reboot my router. I'll give that a try first, since it's not my router and I'd rather not fiddle with it's settings and fuck the houses connection.

Oh yeah, that's something you try early and try often. You generally won't hurt anything, they're designed to be rebooted and come back to continue working, in case of power outage etc.
