Network Adapter Drivers (Linksys, Gigabyte)

HDD died, got a replacement in, going through the process of formatting. I can't find my original driver disks for... anything, really. I have a laptop and a thumb drive, and I was hoping that would work.

While I've found most of the drivers I THOUGHT I was looking for, I'm at a loss. I've got a GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L MOBO with onboard ethernet adapter, and the system just won't recognize it. I've installed the drivers from the Gigabyte website, but it's not working. Are there any generic drivers I might try?

I've also got a Linksys WMP54G wireless adapter. The drivers aren't working for that either, but I'm not surprised. I remember Linksys being a major pain to get to work at all, especially with their proprietary crap. I installed their drivers, but the system still won't acknowledge that the adapter exists.

I know this is a bunch of generic stuff, but I'm extremely frustrated and at a loss right now. Can anyone recommend any non-manufacturer drivers that might work, alternate ways to try to find the drivers, or anything? I've got a Windows XP machine, and I installed SP2 off a disk to make sure the OS was at a good jumping point.

What is this I don't even.
