Cheap airfare

After coming back from my wonderful honeymoon with my wonderful wife a few weeks ago, we're already getting the itch to do some more traveling. Through the magic of the internets we've kept up with a small army of people across the US who could offer couch-surfing services, so we're always on the lookout for cheap flights.

So how do you watch for cheap flights? Currently I'm following Southwest and Delta on twitter, and I also occasionally get emails from Travelocity, which hardly ever have any actual deals in them.

I'd love if someone could point me to some decent RSS feeds, maybe one that I can target to specific destinations and another for "good deals, no matter where or when". What do y'all use to travel for cheap?

Southwest is in the midst of a pretty good sale that ends today, check it out. I've never found the perfect airfare finder thing, but i kind of like www.kayak.com/buzz

I'll just advise you to avoid Travelocity. If there's a problem, you probably won't get a solution out of them.

I like sidestep.com for general airfare searches. www.bing.com/travel has an "Airfare deals" link that you can select your departing city for, and get a list of deals.

Very nice site, you can get a firefox plugin too. The site will let you pick a bunch of flights and it'll track price drops for you, you can also set email alerts when the price gets to a certain level.

My fiancee and I are using it for our honeymoon plans, it has been fantastic.
