Having downloaded the demo and fallen in love with the game, for some time I've been trying to get the full Mac version of World of Goo. Because I prefer that line of boxes on my shelf, I'm determined to get a retail box, which is beginning to prove a somewhat difficult proposition.
First I saw the game listed as coming out in the UK. Hurrah! But, come release, the Mac version had been stripped from the disk, leaving only the PC version there.
Next, I tried importing a US copy, as I knew they were dual-format. Alas, it seems that not every US copy is dual-format, leaving me with a very nice-looking, but sadly PC-only, box of World of Goo.
What, ideally, I'd like is to be able to somehow exchange my copy for a dual-format one. I've tried emailing the publisher, who have thus far not yet replied. As the Mac version is as yet unreleased in the UK, finding it here remains difficult.
I've scanned the rules thread and found nothing relating to this, but if this is breaking any, then mods please feel free to lock this thread. However: is there anybody on these forums with the dual-format Mac and PC version, who wouldn't mind swapping theirs with me for a single-format, PC-only disc? Naturally, all would need to be full, legal, legitimate discs, as I've no intention of getting a copied game.
