As I dislike "attendance" as a stat to be measured and there is no endgame non-raid content, I'm mostly a PvP player. I enjoy PvE, but there's too much drama and bullshit to deal with for me to become part of that community.
All the Tier 9 armor models are out. Looks like they tried to split the difference on the Alliance leather between a rogue look and a druid look. The rogue armor looks pretty terrible.
The Horde cloth looks like Warlock armor. Doesn't look quite right for mages or priests.

So I cannot think of a single decent reason to log on to WoW nowadays. I mean, there's plenty of achievements left to work on (e.g. Loremaster) and dailies to mindlessly grind, but ... there's not really any new content out there.
Anyone else having this problem? Should I just go to the beach for while and come back when 3.3 hits?
if i wasn't in a raiding guild I wouldn't be playing WoW.
Raiding is the only thing keeping me going in this game at the moment, and as it is I only log on for raids then log off again.
they didn't, the old paladin thing was bugged (datamining).
anyway, i really really dig the looks of all the armors (expect for both rogue ones). too bad that it seems they can come up with only a few good models a time (northrend quest armor/weapons),

i want an ironbound protodrake
Speaking of which, my fiance just bought (with gold) a run through Uld 10 for a rusted proto drake... for my birthday.

Now Ill look like Im cooler than I actually am!
to be honest, with how hard some of those hardmodes are, if you can actually participate in those hardmodes and pull your weight, you've earned the drake.
There are a lot of very skilled people out there who SHOULD be flying around on Rusted or Ironbound drakes, but their only problem is that they don't have 9 or 24 other skilled people to go do it with.

I think Im a good player (most people think that of themselves), but I dont know think Ill have the gear to pull my weight*. The guild thats doing it is a pretty ridiculously good guild, and they say they can nine man it all anyway, so unless I actively pull them down, we should be fine.
What. I dont know what you guys are on, but the rogue set looks fantastic.
Wrong!!
Kidding.
Really it's just the mask that throws me. The rest of it isn't terribly offensive, but the mask just doesn't look right in my opinion. But you can still dish out beaky justice I s'pose.
So, I'm 68 now. Stay in Outland or head to Northrend? Purely from a xp/quest perspective.
Most'll say head to Northrend. Personally I took the DK to 70 in Outland first, just because the quests were so easy to complete and the mobs pretty much disentigrated when I touched them. Not that Northrend's mobs were a whole lot tougher, but it just seemed easier to me than it did when I took my 70 warrior and rogue through Northrend anyway.

Wow, the Alliance rogue T9 is going to look HOT on female toons (helm aside). Check out that bodice.
Edit - Or corset, whatever.

Wow, this is unfair almost. The Horde T9 designs are all around better than the Alliance. Especially the cloth stuff, damn.

I'm pretty happy with the Horde T9 sets ... except for maybe the shaman one.
I'll reserve judgement for the Alliance sets when I see them on something other than a male human. Male Humans looks terrible in just about everything.
I can only assume the choice of human is the 'neutral' look or something. That and them being the most numerous Alliance race means you get to show the most people what their class looks like.
However, why do they have more than one race showing whenever they show Horde armour? Is there a bias in MMO champ?

I like the rogue armor a lot actually. The only thing I dont like is the eagle heads + extraneous spikes on the shoulders.
*edit
I would give a lot of money to have a display shoulders option in WoW. Theres a lot of armor I like where the shoulder pieces are just awful.

Eesh, most of those are pretty bad. I feel bad for my friends paladin.
Luckily I'm a warlock and that set looks pretty decent.

Okay, seriously their design team are a bunch of lazy fucks.
Terrible.
You know, being a Blood Elf and all.

It isn't bad, but its not hard mode geared.
I guess they used that lime color for the same reason I do in photoshops - placeholder to see where I need to touch shit up.
Uh, how 'bout that T9 Alliance leather, eh?
Sorry rogues
ouch...
Fun Fact:
Green is the easiest wavelength of color for the human eye to detect!
I think it's karma from always making fun of druid sets.
I can feel that T9 Armor discussion thread on the WoW boards growing already

They could have made it the most hideous robe imaginable and I would have been happy.

I disagree.
I kind of like the plate armor sets, minus the helms.
