I don't consider the time wasted because I had fun doing it. The dude was obviously really good at leading people on so I decided to lead him on a bit as well. Then before I knew it he was asking me to sign for two magazine subscriptions for $60 and I was like "oh well this has gone on long enough" and ended the interaction in the most personally satisfying and expedient manner possible.

I won't deny it was very dickish, but whatever, I think I've earned the right to be a dick every now and then.

Just applied the rub to about six pounds of baby back ribs

the hardest part is having to wait an entire day before you can actually make them.

There was this award-winning guy on food network the other day who was very much against the "low and slow" method of cooking ribs. He cooked them at a really high heat for a short period of time, and designed a rub and stuff that would work perfectly with this

This doesn't help you but you should have seen how fat he is. Waiting an extra day might be a blessing. Do some situps

    What was his name?

Cooking high and fast doesn't give the collagen time to break down properly. It also tends to make the ribs much less moist and delicious.

No idea. He was on Throwdown, so Bobby Flay kept butting in to let people know how creative he was using chipo-TUH-les

They were both using a different region/style of rib. THey were the same size, but the fat patterns on them were completely different and it apparently made a difference in his recipe.

Sometimes when there's a car crash up ahead slowing the freeway to a crawl I try to do the math and figure out how much total time it's wasting out of all of our lives so I can know wether to feel bad for the potentially dead guy or not.

Yes, I surprised myself. In my defense it wasn't a very angry one, I just sorta stated it.

He called them St Louis Pork Ribs, for what it is worth. Bobby spent most of the episode talking about how the sauce for them is divided up into two camps, and how he was going to be new and revolutionary by using both

St louis ribs are an entirely different cut, so yeah you probably cook them a but differently. There's less connective tissue so less collagen.

He said the other drug, lexapro, has had less of a correlation of increased suicidal thoughts, buuuuut, if I forget to take it a day, my mood could dip severely and if that happened, I might be more suicidal!

    So I dunno!

I'll probably do the prozac again. The last time I took it, there were no side effects that I could see, but my psychiatrist didn't give me enough to see results, only to see if my body was okay with the drug.

That's an interesting interpretation of what I said. If I wanted to get someone to kill themselves, I think I would suggest something easier to obtain than cyanide.

I hope you're not planning to feed cyanide to anybody: you will go to jail for murder.
