Not that there are a hell of a lot of Mac+Safari users out there, but for some reason the scrollbar is showing up on your pages, yet I can't scroll things. It's acting like something is sitting ontop of the scrollbar.

Too tired to figure it out now, but eh.

    Looks pretty awesome Mars.

Started a web comic that updates once every Sunday. Already am too hard on myself when it comes to the artistic approach, but the jokes are OK. We only have 2 comics so far. Uhg, every time i look at the panels they look like "suckage", but we've been discussing this for over a year now so it's time we do it. We have I think 3 more pages written in reserve just in case we don't talk for awhile. I also have a few scripts around here that we wrote if i can only find them.

Nap, it's a website for my cartoon pitch. This'll be where I direct the folks I run into down at Comic-Con.

If no one takes the pitch, you should work on it yourself-

    ...I would read it.

Shit, thanks ND! I haven't the foggiest fucking clue why that would be though :x

Nap, thanks! That's only a fraction of the actual story. I would really love to get this made, because I feel like we've got such strong narrative. There's a lot of growing I want to do for the characters, I'm damned determined to get the story told one way or another.

Yeah you should probably put something else up on the site, cause right now it's pretty much all text. Fuck that noise!

EDIT: A drawing board is an excellent investment. Without mine I would have nowhere to store my piles of crap that have no right being on a drawing board.

EWA, I would absolutely love to, but the shitty reality of it is, I simply don't have the time to produce any new art assets for the site. But I built it in a way that'll allow it to grow once I have the time in the next couple of months.

Though it's not like me to get in the way of any conversation involving dicks, I need some advice. I was pulled into a meeting today at work, and I've been put on 'performance management' for being late for the last 10 days.

Of course, by late, my supervisor was referring to, literally, 1 or 2 minutes. It feels really heavy handed. I explained my lateness was probably caused by roadworks on the main street into the city that I take to work. He said I needed to take an earlier bus - in effect, be here 20 minutes early, rather than 1 or 2 minutes late.

It's really inflexible, and kinda pissed me off.

So I haven't ever quit a full time job before, but I need to get out of here. I'm just spending most of my days at best apathetic, and at worst, angry. If you were in my position, what would you do? Look for another job before you quit, for instance?

We have welfare in Australia, so I could technically survive on that if I couldn't find work - I'd just be eating a lot of rice.

But yeah. I really feel like I've had enough. I want to quit before I come in and do something I regret out of sheer frustration.

Geez can't a few dudes talk about dicks without interruption?!

I would try to line something else up first. But then again, a shitty workplace often makes you feel shitty even when you aren't there, so it's your call duder.

Getting in trouble for being like 100 seconds late is pretty weak, but I guess most places might throw hissies about that kinda stuff too. I'd try to stick it out until some crazy shit goes down like in Wanted and you havta smack a motherfucker with your keyboard.

Yeah, this place has been getting worse and worse since we got bought by a bigger company. It's just a really awful place to be. Also I really despise my direct manager; I just think he's an absolute boob and he infuriates me, it's one of those cliche 'how the fuck did the moron get the promotion' scenarios.

robots, I quit my last job because I was completely miserable before I found a new job. Luckily (sort of) I had to give a month's notice which gave me time to build savings etc. However I still haven't found a new job (but I have an interview tomorrow), but I'm lucky in that I still have a bit of savings and my partner is willing to put up with a certain amount of "paying for all the groceries". I'm also going to end up with a job that pays significantly less than my last one (mostly through personal choice but) because of the recession blah blah. But what do I know, I'm not even eligible for the dole!

ANYWAY I guess what I am saying is if it's really that bad then quit, but if you can stick it out for a while you probably want to have something else lined up.

Fucking dammit. Everything decided to make noise (and neighbor assholes made more "IT'S BEEN 12 HUORS TIEM 2 MO LAWN" and some other guy made noises that sounded like he was using a circular saw at 7am, and maybe cutting through wood and sheetmetal and bicycles or something, I don't even know) noises...and now the sun is coming up, and my room will be too hot to sleep in within the next hour, and I'm an angry, angry sleep-deprived lady.

Helloooooo PA fora! My life is a void without you.

Also, SCAD finally created the registration for the EA class, and my professor sent it to me. Now i just have to wait for my academic advisor to "allow me to register", and I'll be all set! :D Apparently it's a Monday-Friday class D: ...it's going to be insane. Every single day! That'sll be in the fall, AND I'll be taking my ZBrush class...and my Electronic Illustration class (which will essentially just be Photoshop, and I'm really comfortable in that, so hopefully that'll be more of a breeze, and allow me time to destroy myself in the other two classes).
