I'm working on an iPhone app related to tabletop gaming and could use some testers. If you do a lot of tabletop games (D&D and otherwise) and want to test an app and provide feedback, please shoot me an email at mindbendergames@gmail.com. Be sure to include a list of the tabletop games you play and your iphone / ipod touch's version (1st gen, 3g, 3gs, etc.) and UDID (40 char hex identifier). If you don't know how to get your device's UDID, let me know and I can point you in the right direction.
Act fast, as I am limited in the number of provisioning files I can provide.
Only one response so far. I suppose I could divulge a little more about the project in the interest of generating more testers.
The application that I'm working on is a comprehensive, easy to use, physics-based dice roller. I've played with many dice rollers for iphone, and they are all confusing, poor quality, and/or lacking major features. Three weeks ago, my DM suggested I make a better one, so I have
My need for beta testers is threefold.
1) I want to get the opinion of somebody who has never seen / touched this app before. I have several D&D buddies who have given me solid input, but they all had the app's designer standing over their shoulder explaining it to them. Consumers won't have this luxury, so I need to make sure the app makes sense out of the box.
2) I am mainly a D&D player. I don't do much of any other tabletop games (with the exception of board games). I would like to see how well this app translates into other systems.
3) As a man of limited means, I only have one device, an iphone 3g. I would like to see how well the program holds up on other hardware.
I'm going to be doing a significant overhaul of a few systems within the app this weekend and hope to have a beta out by Monday.
