    Besides, pretty much every college ever starts school before labor day and that doesn't seem to stop many people. So obviously "I've got school" isn't much of a gamebreaker.

    Javen sometimes you are really a special kind of retard. Every college has labor day off. Hell, the vast majority of business have labor day off.

    On another note, PAX used to be on the first week of school, where most people would drop classes, so it was never a problem for me to gooooo

    But halfway through a semester means tests, papers, etc.

    Well, not for a law student. But still.

    Most professors don't take roll for the first 3 days because that's during the add/drop period for classes and they still may have new students. I'd miss any Friday class (which was a rarity anyway) and take the absence on the following monday.

    The only reason why I was able to go last year was because it was on Labor day, I didn't actually miss any class!
