    But I mean, this exact joke was being told so many years ago and it wasn't particularly funny then. Some idiot steals the plane and sucks at flying? It's so common it's basically a 1942 meme at this point.

    I do agree that the joke has entered meme territory at this point. I enjoyed the comic mostly for seeing it with some good art. The dude pushing Gabe out of the way has a lot of character.

    You know, the mma comic made a joke that was pretty much in meme territory too. "I don't like watching a bunch of sweaty dudes rolling around on the ground" is the first thing anyone who doesn't like mma says.

    Compare to monday's joke. It was the same "people on live are idiots" joke we've heard 1000 times, but at least they tried to do something creative with it.

    Didn't get this one for a few minutes. I kept seeing it as the Indiana Jones airplane fight and that somehow the physics must be broken because contact with the propeller threw the guy into a mountain... where he exploded.

    It may have been funnier that way.
