Just played a bit of this split screen but got quickly annoyed when my (player two) gps button stopped working and that kind of detracted from the fun for no solid reason
The demo was really fun. I just hope the game is considerably longer then the first one since it seems like I'm going to pay full price for it.
yea, the first one was $10 well spent but i would have been kinda mad if i payed full price for it. im thinking i'll wait for some word of mouth on this one before actually pulling the trigger on it.
I actually liked the demo for 40th day much better than what I've played of the first one. The Frat-boyness seems to have been toned down just enough to not be annoying anymore. Mellee attacks are awesome as well
I hope there's a reason to use the OTHER guns in this game. Once you the AK fully maxed it's almost better than every other gun.
I'm more of a Shotgun guy, personally. Every shot that connects is either lethal or drops the enemy on the ground, making them easy targets.
I was too, but the damage for the AK (along with the accuracy) got so high that it was stupid to use the shotgun on the later levels just because they kept their distance (at least on the hardest difficulty).

Army of Two is one of the few games where the Shotguns remains accurate even on longer distances. I dunno how well the damage compares to the AK, but enemies didn't usually take more more then one of two hits if memory severs right (was playing on the hardest difficultly as well). In the end, it's just a matter of preference I guess.

I'd be playing this, expect for some reason my 360 has decided me and my friend don't want to play in the same game or be in the same party.
Fucking router.
I'm having the same problem with me and my room mate. Two TVs, two systems, same router, "game not found".
Though I wish I had someone that was more compatible with my moral choices. Random guy I paired up with killed everyone. Even the guy I was using as a shield.
man the thing that happens if you spare the guy in the demo is pretty hilariously wtf
Yeah, no subtitles, so we weren't really sure what was going on plotwise. Still, he picked the wrong beach.
I beat 50 Cent with my friend and then we went onto this, and now we're looking to pick up more Coop PS3 games that may or may not be either good or goofy enough to overcome its shittiness. Army of Two 1, I'm looking at you!

NAT settings, etc.
Really damn annoying to fix, and even then it always seems to be a temporary fix at best. And it seems like everyone in the public games is a goddamned psycho. Disarmed cop? Shotgun to face.
I had some guy that executed everyone we tied up and disarmed immediately afterwards as my partner. Using a gold-plated AK-47.

I played the demo and I have to say I enjoyed it(was playing coop with my brother), and really their aren't enough good split-screen co-op games this gen.
I was thinking about getting the first game since it is only like 10 bucks now and I was wondering does it have that little morality system?

ha, me and my friend played through army of two co-op and then went on to 50 cent. both games were cheap as hell and provided good co-op times. for what its worth i thought army of two was a significantly better game than 50 cent, aside from looking pretty shoddy in a lot of parts and having a horribly anticlimactic end bit. definitely worth the pittance it goes for, if youve got a solid co-op person to play with.

If you think the ending for AoT was anitclimactic, get the free DLC. Adds the real final boss as well as a couple of other missions that take place during some of the time gaps.

Was that a case of not having time to finish the game? At least they didn't charge for it, I guess.

Yeah. They didn't have time to get the last few missions done, so they released the game and then released the other missions later. Unfortunately, by the time they saw the light of day, I hadn't played the game in ages and it was really hard, so I never finished them.

i would but its long since traded in. hopefully they shore up stuff like that in the sequel, because im really wanting some sweet co-op actions.
Hey, anyone want to play the demo with me? The first public co-op that I got into had an idiot who had it on hard despite not knowing what the shoot button even is, or at least he made me think, with his dieing every 4 seconds and having two kills

The Russian mission is the most fun. Alternative ending? Not so much.
The only time when we had to switch the difficulty level to easy - the last boss was just, uugh. I mean, the first part of the fight is not so hard if you camp in the corner and snipe him, but when he's hitting the ground there is no way I can imagine beating him without playing dirty.

Funnily enough, I didn't play dirty. I spammed grenades, and damn near ran out of ammo but I killed the bastard. Was playing as Rios and got full agro and activated overdrive (or whatever) causing Rios to stand up and shout, "It's time for the Tyson Rios show!"
Then I start walking towards the little bitch like the bad-ass motherfucker I am, holding down the trigger and emptying the box mag (was using a machinegun)
I've already spent too much time with the graphics creator.
So, I have the feeling that the custom parts laying around are going to cause me to scour every inch of every map in a way that the money suitcases never did in the first. I found a grip and a stock in the demo, anyone know of anything else I missed?

So, I got back from vacation and put down $5 on a preorder, and got a $10 off coupon for when I pick up the game. Not sure how long this has been going on, but hey, now the game's $10 cheaper.
That's not too bad. Where did you place the preorder?

So, yeah, I got Army of Two from Gamestop during its buy two get one free sell and I have to say it wasn't that bad.
Pretty fun as far as a co-op game goes, only downside is that the campaign mode was really short.

Yeah, get the free DLC. At least 2 extra levels.
I got the coupon from Gamestop. You have to redeem it upon pick up of the game which is the only downside. So there ya go. $10 off and a Horde mode before anyone else.
So, when is this game coming out? I thought it was coming out on Friday (1/8) but now I'm seeing some things listing it as 1/12. Did I miss the memo and it got pushed back a silly period of time or what?

Friday is the European release date, but it's coming out here (US) on Tuesday (1/12).

yEah, for some reason movie and game new releases are on Tuesdays for some reason.

Never played the first one. But...since I'm looking for fun games instead of serious bizness games now...I might have to give this one a try.
Might have to try and find some PSN people to try it out if I'm on later.

I want to know more PA people on Twitter.
