I've noticed these tags finally.

Though if that person hasn't been jailed, it says "Jailed: Dec 31 1969"...

Prolly already aware of this though...

Rambozo(Jailed)

Though it seems as though they've been removed from non jailed people already. I guess.

Can we get the chemicals in. 'Cause anything's better than this.

heh, I was just logging in to announce that.

    Damn, you guys are fast.

Anyways, yeah, you caught some of my bugs as I implemented it, but it looks to be working as intended now.

If you are jailed and want to know who did it, check your profile. Mods (or I suppose anyone else), if you are wondering who jailed someone or when, check their profile.

    :(

And Gray, it would display for people who weren't jailed.

But I guess that they were being worked on right now and now its fine...

a "jailed reason" is being contemplated for a future version of the jail mod.

Has the whole "can't make a new thread ability taken away for those in jail" thing done?

Well, I've explained before why I don't think it is prudent to keep jailed people from making topics, but I'm willing to give it a go and see how it works out.

I just dropped in the code now, so jailed people are now limited to:
    1 new topic per hour
    1 reply per 2.5 minutes ( 150 seconds )
no sig, applied retroactively to all posts
    jailed avatar
    no title
no bbcode, replied retroactively to all posts
    no smileys

And all those wil be restored once the jail period is over?

    Yes Paladin, that's my understanding.

Also, Ramius, I've noticed when a jailed user gets deleted all of his or her posts revert back to normal. Just something to keep in mind before baleeting a troll that's in jail for peppering the forum with questionable images.

yes, I purposely tested the smiley because I was unsure if it was retroactive or not. Apparently it is not.

Next I am going to test to see what gets undone when unjailed. I suspect the bbcode from BEFORE I was jailed will come back, but the bbcode from during will not.

When a person is unjailed, does their previous sig and title come back? Or is it just gone? I'm kinda curious.

Their sig is there, but they need to go to their profile and enable it. Their title is gone, as is their avatar. They will have to reset those manually.

They're still in the profile, just bypassed.
