...Well, actually, the thread title pretty much explains it...
Just give us some stories about scary experiences you've had. Preferably things that have happened in public places (or private places you weren't supposed to be in). Try to steer away from things that have happened to you in your house or a friend's house.
Ready? Go.
*EDIT*
Let me specify. I meant scary, paranormal experiences, lol. Sorry, should've seen that coming.
I was at a Bob Dylan concert yesterday and I felt like I was having a heart attack. Everything went white and the sound droned out. I passed out and was rushed to the hospital. It was public and terrifying

I was going to work on chocolate and dessert with a visiting french chef at my school but instead I had to go home with diarrhea
The specificity of the nature of stories makes me think this is some sort of fetish. To ruin your sexual gratification you should know I was back before the concert was finished and only missed John Cougar Mellencamp
In the building I used to work in there was a fire quite a few years ago. In the basement you could see the old lift-shaft that they'd since blocked up the rest of the way. There were all scratch-marks on the walls and the floor just outside, where the people had been trapped in the fire. I'm absolutely serious.
We went down to have a look and absolutely nothing scary whatesoever happened the end.
one time I woke up and aimlessly wandered around half asleep then fell down my splintery wooden stairs unto the cement floor and then rolled into a metal pole
edit: I dont know how this was scary but it was kind of funny since I somehow managed to not get hurt at all

i walk by this hobo every day
he's always talking to himself
i stared at him for a while
wanted to check if he was faking it
to get more money
it was inconclusive
but i think maybe he was
