Got a 6600 LE in my Pc.
Cant afford to get a brand new pc until late next year, as I will be getting a bit of cash etc.. So, Im getting a new video card.
I'm pretty sure I'm getting an AGP ATI X800 GTO DDR3 Will this do until late next year?
Or should I get something else entirely?

Pc's really confuse me..

The whole X series (but not X1) doesn't support Shader Model 3.0 which can be required by games, as shown by Splinter Cell: Double Agent. I think Age of Empires 3 much prefers hardware with SM3.0, so it's possible that some other games do or will also work better with it.

If you get one with all 16 pixel pipelines working or flash it with a BIOS that will unlock the extra 4 pipelines you should get pretty good performance with that card. I'm not sure how it would compare to an overclocked 7600GS which I would suggest otherwise.

If you can spare +$50 then you could get a 7600GT which should be faster than the GS and at least as fast as a heavily-overclocked X800.

    Wait for a DX10 card.
I don't think there will be any AGP DX10 cards, at least not at first.
