Moss' New Work

edited August 2009 in Artist's Corner
Hi dudes. It's been a while. I thought I'd drop by and show some of the stuff I've been working on:

Sea Saw:

A couple of editorial spots for The Financial Times. I did the cover for this issue as well, but I don't want to post it until they've type-set it all. THe story is about internet censorship in China. The left illo accompanies the section about 'internet police', the right illo deals with the Chinese government limiting Twitter access.

Auto-reply mailer to send to clients while I am away this September.

Robocopper tee:

Screen printed poster @ work.

Small piece for Complex magazine:

Silly infographics:

And something I am working on for A Life Well Wasted. Does anyone listen?

I also just finished something for the new Lost viral campaign but would be murdered in my sleep if I told you about it. :?

    Word... list?

Nah, I ususally just see a funny connection between two things, concepts or shapes or whatever. Once you start looking at things in a certain way it's very difficult to stop.

Thats what word listing goes for.. When you arent immideately seeing a connection between two things. Write down a bunch of words in two columns about those two things and see if any of the related words help you for a shape or conceptual connection.. anyways enough derailing.

by lost viral campaign lost as in the TV show LOST? because thats boss

My wife bought a shirt you made for me, the one with all the villain targets, no idea it was from you. I saw it and I was like, "Where have I seen that before?" I eventually realized it was yours and it made my day.

Check out Shigeo Fukuda, his stuff was amazing.

As for programs, I mostly use illustrator, then tweak texture etc in photoshop.
