OverClocked ReMix has just released it's 14th project album Final Fantasy IV: Echoes of Betrayal, Light of Redemption

The album is a fan-made arrangement album of Nobuo Uematsu's classic video game soundtrack consisting of 46 tracks set in 3 Acts. Every track from the original has been re-imagined in a narrative that culminates in a two-part finale.

The project features a large array of genres from 36 different artists. You will hear everything from orchestral, to rock, to dance, to hip-hop. There is truly something for everyone here.

The full album is available for free download at http://ff4.ocremix.org

I'm checking this out now... I've always been a big fan of the Chrono Symphonic remix over there, as well as Radical Dreamers. I'm ah... not too sure about the artwork for this album, but otherwise the audio in the preview is pretty good.

Cecil looks like Prince Charming from Shrek.

Completely sitewhore-y post, but I'm glad it was made. I didn't even know they were working on a Final Fantasy 4 remix album. I've enjoyed all of them (some more than others, of course) thus far. I use the act1episode1 Doom remix as an alarm clock sound.

There is a Final Fantasy thread you know.

The lack of Sixto Sounds is disappointing, really. I'm sure I'd have liked his rendition of Battle with the Four Fiends. Other notable names such as zircon, Snappleman, Dhsu and Bladiator are missing as well. To tell the truth, I don't see many familiar names aside from bLiNd, Fishy, OA, Liontamer, Another Soundscape, Mazedude, Protricity and CotMM.

Wow...that preview video has quite a bit of really awful stuff.

I'll still download it, as I heard at least a couple that might be good, but damn, that's a lot of shitty remixes.
