Mac Games - Indie and otherwise

So I'm sat here whilst my girlfriend is playing on Sims 3 on the HTPC and I was wondering if anyone could recommend any good games to play on a mac. It's a pretty bog standard Macbook Aluminium, on board graphics (THough nvidia 9400 so not HORRENDOUS), 2gb ram, 2ghz core 2 duo.

I'm really after something pick up and play, that I could plug a joypad in to and have a few minutes blast on. I've been enjoying N but can anyone recommend anything else? Racing, shooting, platforming - anything that doesn't require a vast amount of time putting in (so RPGs are a no no).

Cheers folks.

(Oh and I've completed Cave Story)

Escape Velocity Nova. Top-down space sandbox game. Travel from star to star trading, pirating, exploring, etc. Don't know if it supports a gamepad but the keyboard controls work just fine.

Best place to start is macgamefiles.com and hit up the demos section.

My favorite Mac game back in the day was Deimos Rising

Bought it on the Wii, didn't realise it was out for Mac so I've now got that too. Thanks!

I didn't mean gamepad only, sorry, I just meant I have one and I'd quite like to use it.

Cheers for the other suggestions guys, I've completed Braid on the 360 but that was back when it was released so it may be time for another playthrough.

I also discovered the Indie thread on here so I've been playing through that (Completed Box man last night, lovely platformer)

There's an OSX version of Jumpman which I thoroughly enjoyed. As an added bonus, it was made by mcc.
