Help me look god awful (80's Style)

Hi H&A,

I have an upcoming party in which all guests are asked to dress in 80's attire. Now I'm a child of the 80's, but I'm having a little trouble settling on an outfit. I'm looking for something that is tacky, colorful, and unmistakably 80's.

A couple of points to consider:

I'm likely to be buying said outfit at a thrift store, and a 20-30$ budget is preferable. I'm willing to spend more on something awesome, but chances are this is a wear once and bury it in my closet sort of thing.

I'm comfortable with making an ass of myself. Short shorts, muscle shirts, pretty much anything is fair game here.

I'm a dude with a shaved head, so anything relying on hair to pull it off is a no go. Flock of seagulls ain't going to work.

Find the lightest colored sport coat and the brightest colored dress shirt possible. Then roll up the sleeves of the dress shirt and the sport coat.

Also, find the jeans that are as close to white as possible.

And find some sunglasses with hideous rims

Baby blue shirt with white collar/cuffs.
Yellow/brown braces.
Suit trousers

Bonus points for having a huuuuuuuge mobile phone and a beeper.

Shout 'My only regret, is that I had... Bonitis!' at everyone at the party.

Mousse and hairspray, lots of it. Just don't stand near an open flame.

Go with doc's Idea of acid washed jeans. Partially blue and white splotchy is even better. Find a jean vest if you can or some sort of horrid sport shirts. This looks pretty good as a comparison.

Thanks a lot guys - I'm now headed to the thrift store with a noggin full of ideas. It all really depends on what I can find there, but I might have to come back and post a pic of the aftermath.
