didnt they already clench that, or just homefield?
neither. you would clinch a bye before homefield. last week they clinched the division, and if Cincy beats Indy tomorrow they clinch a bye. given that the Ravens have the tiebreaker, they most likely won't be able to clinch homefield until the last week of the season. only if Baltimore loses next week could they clinch it then.
I don't think the Ravens will lose again this regular season

Even with Air McNair's stigmata?
HAHAHA
I unfortunately didn't get a chance to see the Ravens game today. I was instead forced to watch the Saints get upset by Washington. So I have no idea how bad that injury really is, though it doesn't look great.
but yeah. the Ravens are a team that just need their offense to not suck so much it bogs down their defense. they are the anti-Colts, and where the Colts would be lost without Manning, I'm pretty sure the Ravens' QB is a hot swap plug-and-play position.

wait, what happened during that game?
McNair got sacked, and while he was on the ground another player inadvertently stepped on his right hand, putting a puncture wound in his palm.
Met him once a few years ago, because his hometown is just like 5-10 miles north of here.
This makes me a somewhat Ravens fan, when it comes to AFC teams a least. There just aren't any AFC teams I'm a fan of at all, might as well cheer for the team of the guy who didn't think he was too much of a stud to talk to me.
I met Stokely once at some banquet for our local football awards and shit. Got to have my picture taken with him for winning something or some such. He was a cool guy but not at all...intimidating as you'd hope/expect.

I knew a guy in college that like was his neighbor when he first played for the Oilers. McNair just seems like a really nice, albeit tough dude. Still pretty shitty how the Titans kicked him to the curb. I mean, I can understand them wanting to get younger, but they were utterly classless about it.

Yea, fuck the Titan's for that. He basically single handedly built that franchise.

Not alloying him in the complex, (if I remember right) yeah, pretty crappy of them.

Brandon Stokely?
The dude used to take some severe hits in the slot before he got injured this season. This was with the Colts, though. Don't know how much/well he played with the Ravens.

They were afraid he would hurt himself and if he hurt himself during a game or at the stadium they'd have to pay him like 3 million dollars or some shit like that. His contract had some crazy injury clause in it and they didn't want any whoopsies.

Yeah dude. I remember both days. I despise the Ravens, but he was a cool guy, really modest and shit. The one thing that was particularly noticeable was that he had gigantic calf muscles. I have no idea why this was brought to my attention, but it was like...they were bigger than his thighs.

Hahaha. Not really NFL related, but a dude on my high school track team had the massive calf thing going on. Maybe it has to do with all the sprinting.

So I needed both Philip Rivers and Larry Johnson to tank tonight to keep me in the game against Slung. Boy did I luck out. I need about 2TD between Reggie Wayne, Dominic Rhodes, and T.J. Hazamadilla to win tomorrow.

if I want to win in the FS league, I need Houshmandzadeh to put up 3 TDs and 240 yards.
and I need Chad Johnson to sit out

I should be good in my league. LT and NE's D were big this week, and he had Eli and Shaun Alexander as his big 2.

Tomlinson's carried me through this season. I've not had much other then him this year.
T.O. netted me 15 points this week. I can not see how I will lose. He has Housh and I have Henry tomorrow but I am sure I will have a pretty good lead when the scores update.
okay I now have to reverse my anti-Indy stance for the remainder of the regular season. with SD clinching a 10-2 conference record tonight, the Chargers are benefited immensely by the Colts winning out.

Since the Giants are shit this year I'm strongly pulling for San Diego.
although the Giants severely shot themselves in the foot by losing to Philly today, they're not quite out of it yet. if they could possibly find a way to start firing on all cylinders, i think they could go far in the playoffs.

The Giants are ok because Atlanta and Carolina lost. It's like nobody wants the last playoff spot in the NFC.
Okay, I have no idea what needs to happen to get the Broncos into the playoffs, but I know the Chiefs losing tonight was good.
I don't really have high hopes, but it'd be nice.
as it stands right now, Broncos are 6th seed. they pretty much have tiebreakers on everybody but KC. they will temporarily move up to 5th seed if Cincy loses tomorrow.
but Cincy-Denver next week is one of the most determinative games for the AFC wildcard picture. whoever loses is likely to fall behind either the Jets or the Jags, or both. the Jets and the Jags each have at least one game left they are capable of losing, so that works in the Broncos favor
in terms of next week - if Denver beats Cincy and either Jacksonville or the Jets lose, the Broncos clinch a wildcard spot. I'm pretty sure.
actually that's a lie. as long as KC can catch Denver, Denver can't clinch. Simply because when it comes down to wildcard tiebreakers among more than two teams, the first tiebreaker is best team in each division, and KC can't lose that tiebreaker without also losing a shot at the playoffs (they would have to lose to Oakland)

that is probably a safe course of action
he spit on you too eh?
ok i think it's ridiculous that i went to yahoo sports, si.com, and nfl.com and can't figure out which hand McNair throws with
i'm not looking very hard, but you think for a QB that would be made pretty obvious on their player page
durr
and yes, it was his throwing hand
