Yay for lack of edits/triple posts.

Oh yeah, I forgot to ask here, because asking in party chat was pretty dumb. Initial critiques of the map itself. Not of the bugs, like the stuff I've already mentioned has been fixed. Does the map have potential?
Looks like the first wave on invites to the early preview won't come until tomorrow afternoon. But as of 4 hours ago Major Nelson still said there was room: http://tr.im/ufPk
Oh hush. When we were campaigning who of us managed to do the entire road section in Halo without dying on legendary?
That was actually some pretty good driving, you almost fell off the edge a couple of times though.
I think I'm placing a pre-order on ODST this week, just want to see what they're charging for the special edition here. Gamestop is listed on Bungie.net as participating in the pre-order bonus program in Germany, France and Italy, think there's a chance they will be in Norway too? (I want my god damn Johnson firefight skin).
95% finished version of beehive w/ spawns. However, I hit the object limit while setting up gametypes. Kor, you're gonna have to choose between the following:
- VIP
- KotH
- Territories
- Infection
And only two of them.
the map now supports Assault, Slayer, Ball and Flag.

Definitely Territories. Probably VIP for the second one. Simply because the map isn't really an infection map, and the map is too symmetrical to be a KotH map.
Final (?) version of Beehive. With a little bit of squeezing I was able to get it to support all gametypes (by reducing the number of go-to points for Juggernaut and VIP and so on).
I even did up a description for it, but you can decide if you want to do your own.

infection... low grav super fast zombies... let the zombies use powerups (can you do that?)... oh, and keep the horents in :winky:
Anybody can always pick up powerup. Only thing you can do to prevent them is to force traits to something (ie, forcing camo off nullifies camo powerup, forcing normal/no shields undoes the overshield after the invincibility period is over)
I was thinking infection might be different. I haven't seen a zombie use a power drainer. In my mind Kor's map had fast zombies running all over, jumping off the roof to drain a hornet. The hornet crashes and zombies come pouring out of the bases, overwhelming the hornet in a sea of black. The passengers desperately fire off magnum shots, demolishing the heads of the quicker elite undead, then switch to their boomsticks.
"Get this fucker off the ground!"
"I'm trying!"... come on baby, don't let me down...

Oh, that. Zombies have weapon pickup off by default, which keeps you from picking up equipment, so yeah it's possible for them to use it (but it also means they can pick up shotguns)
Slowly knockin' the rust off for Wars. The problem with me and RTSes is that if I stop playing I always have to spend a bit of time getting back on the horse.

Real men play star craft and supreme commander as far as RTS's go.
I think, at some point, I'll get Halo Wars. It's still a bit steep now, used, but one of these days, I'll do it. Maybe whenever we do B2G1F again.
The cutscenes are awesome, and I liked the demo enough. Hopefully someone will still play it with me, and not stomp me right into the fucking mud, when the day comes.
I never really got into that bad because I was always went regret and back when we did flat-out covie rushes regret and a shit ton of honor guard kicked ass
but now that I'm playing Cutter to get PRODSTS it feels pretty nice
also remember that thing about using an elephant as an early barracks, and I said it would be retarded because elephants are weak? Well fyre you were right and it owns so hard it is essentially the base of my early game
also it's awesome that my elephants strat worked out, but it was also helped by the recent update (i think it increased elephant HP)
edit: yeah
Balance Changes:
- UNSC Warthogs Gauss cannon damage against tanks and other heavily armored vehicles reduced by 25%
-UNSC Warthogs build time increased by 3 seconds to 25 seconds
- Anders research time bonus decreased to 25% from 50%. Her Research cost bonus remains unchanged at 50%
-Covenant and UNSC turrets have 5% increased health and 5% increased damage -UNSC Elephants have a 20% more health
-Grenade damage type now has 25% additonal damage against Warthogs and other medium armor ground vehicles.
-Recycle basic cost return fixed to be 50% for constructed buildings.
- Locked down bases when unlocked will now release units inside very quickly, which means that when under attack a player can now build a fighting force while locked down and then release them much more quickly than before
- UNSC Leader powers disabled at the start of Reinforcement Matches
-Players no longer receive points for team killing.
-Self Destructing/Recycling buildings now gives points to opponents
Bug Fixes:
-Players should now find it much easier to play System Link games
-Fixed Covenant Shield Generator Exploit
-Invisible Units should now have invisible health bars
-Players will no longer be able to scout opposing bases by using the area-select tool
I have cutter pretty much boiled down to a science, it's just really difficult compared to Covies because you have to balance your build order and upgrades really strictly or else you'll be weaker and lose
here's my build order/3v3 strategy from what I remember right now
Start with 700 res
Elephant - 400
Supply Pad - 100
Reactor - 250
Now have 50 res
have warthog collect crates
Supply Pad - 100
If there are reactors on map:
deploy elephant at reactor
Marine Squad - 100
IF you have 500 res, build 2nd reactor at base first
put marines in reactor
Barracks - 150
send elephant to nearest rebel base
deploy elephant
Spartan - 300
Marines - 100
New Blood - 200
IF 3rd Reactor is map reactor: Supply Pad
Collect res at rebel base
Spartan 2- 300
put 2nd Spartan in Elephant
RPGS - 400
IF extra 300 res after RPGs: Spartan chain guns - 300
Medic - 700
IF extra 300 res after Medic: Spartan 3 - 300
ODSTs - 1800
deploy elephant near enemy base
deploy marines until ODST is researched
delete barracks
IF extra res on delete of barracks: build field armory - 150, IF extreme amount of extra res: farm base
reinforce allies in attacks, liberal use of ODST drop (try to maintain >5 odsts ready unless necessary)
Adrenaline boost - 250
IF Mac blast has not been used: 2 Mac blasts - 700
IF pop cap is reached: Reinforcements - 800
IF elephant is still alive: Twin Engine - 250
Use pelicans for transport without hesitation - 200 per use
win
It seems as of an hour ago, the leaderboards (and truskill) ranks were reset. Highest 1v1 rank right now is 28 as of this post. Not sure yet if it's intentional (it was asked for by the community, which I guess makes sense due to the balance changes) or not yet, because it apparently happened for a few hours before.

Alright, dammit, I'll look into finding a copy of Chaos Theory tonight, just to shut you guys up.
Also thinking of picking up Blazblue, so Browncoat can beat my face in. Best Buy says they still have the Limited Edition that has the bonus tutorial disc, so hopefully it will make me not suck at a fighting game unlike my past experiences.
